I'd love to see the Bears back but they have to be realistic. Otherwise, f*ck them...Jesus, what a way to get all jewbag...

Yeah they'll drag their feet untill all their "demands are met" this is why I've kept saying it wont be perth, they wont succumb to these ludicrous 2-4 home game in Sydney, especially when Perth wants that content for Optus or HBF, it makes no sense on thier side of things, of course it will blow up on both their faces... Melbourne is the city for the Bears, they wont clamour for more than 8 games, not like the perth mob (and rightly so for WA) bears can own their licence, and drink their cup of tea too, knowing that they just have to share AAMI park for half the season, then the other half is in SydneyI'd love to see the Bears back but they have to be realistic. Maybe, but not until after Perth, NZ2, possibly SEQ4 and PNG is the great unknown.Yeah they'll drag their feet untill all their "demands are met" this is why I've kept saying it wont be perth, they wont succumb to these ludicrous 2-4 home game in Sydney, especially when Perth wants that content for Optus or HBF, it makes no sense on thier side of things, of course it will blow up on both their faces... North - West Melbourne Bears perhaps?Yeah they'll drag their feet untill all their "demands are met" this is why I've kept saying it wont be perth, they wont succumb to these ludicrous 2-4 home game in Sydney, especially when Perth wants that content for Optus or HBF, it makes no sense on thier side of things, of course it will blow up on both their faces... A second team is a long way off. There are too many good things happening there in Melbourne right now to upset the apple cart. You are spot on.North - West Melbourne Bears perhaps?
All that would do is pick a few fans from Storm, and some Storm fans would follow both. Reckon Melbourne Bears would make GWS look like Broncos or Collingwood.
No thanks. Storm Is the only team than unites Melbourne (it has taken VicTory’s spot) and it would not be good for the game here.
Ideally one trial at nso, manly at allianz and pre season trial in WA SW area.I'd give them one trial at NSO and the other to showpiece around Perth. The Bears already have multiple matches in Sydney, albeit as the away team.
The yearly trial at NSO could be against a regular opponent too - maybe a fellow foundation club like the Roosters?Ideally one trial at nso, manly at allianz and pre season trial in WA SW area.
You make it sound like the ARLC are actually considering perth, and not the Bears, its only the bears and a location that suitsMaybe, but not until after Perth, NZ2, possibly SEQ4 and PNG is the great unknown.
Roosters are the new CC team. Manly had the chance and blew it.Any chance of the Central Coast Council buying a couple of games from the Sea Eagles?
Manly should be muscling in on the region.

Use to get big crowds at North Sydney ovalThe yearly trial at NSO could be against a regular opponent too - maybe a fellow foundation club like the Roosters?
Is there anything stopping the Central Coast Council from paying Manly to play a game or two at Central Coast Stadium?Roosters are the new CC team. Manly had the chance and blew it.
Yes, Central Coast Council is brokeIs there anything stopping the Central Coast Council from paying Manly to play a game or two at Central Coast Stadium?
Like the rest of the country?Yes, Central Coast Council is broke
No seriously, a few years ago they nearly shut down, it was all over the news, many jobs were lost it was ridiculous.Like the rest of the country?
So it's worse than Logan City Council? No seriously, a few years ago they nearly shut down, it was all over the news, many jobs were lost it was ridiculous.
They have been in administration since October 30 2020.
