The fact that you seem to think that the Bears would ever even consider 20% ownership and 1 game in Sydney is you thinking with your dick.

The fact that you are so quick to throw WA/Perth RL and local bids under the bus simply because you think it might get you personally a team quicker, that's you thinking with your dick.

You aren't being realistic about what a merger or WA based Bears bid would actually have to entail for the Bears to agree to it, nor what the long term ramifications of such a deal would be for RL in WA. You are simply approaching this from the angle of what gets you NRL games to attend on the weekend the quickest.

You're no different to the delusional types of Bears fans whom sincerely believe that the WANRL/local WA RL establishment would accept a similar minority share in the club, 6+ games at NSO, no representation in the brand other than maybe the name (the idea that the team could be called just 'The Bears' is already going around and gaining popularity), and no say in the day to day running of the club.
BS. I’m not behind any particular bid because we dont have a single bid because there isnt a call for bids yet!

some times you have to adapt to the environment your in. We all know how small minded Vlandys is but also how much control he has. The fact he was the one instigating this suggests he thinks it’s a good idea. Now you could argue we should just ignore that and hope he is more open minded. Or that we shouldnt worry if we dont get team 18, even if means waiting 20 years plus for another chance. Personally I think that would be a disaster for the game here for numerous reasons. So if Vlandys thinks bears are a good idea we’d be stupid not to be considering it.

secondly we know there are 4 potential bid options in perth. U til we know what they might look like I’ll not hitch my wagon to
anyone of them, but nor will I totally discount them either.

to get my support the bears bid needs to tick the ownership and control boxes. If it can’t it won’t get my support and hopefully will fail. If the bears can’t concede that then we should walk away and not worry about them as an option. but it’s early days and we do not know what they would be willing to agree to. Your just speculating, you might be right, you might not be. At this early stage we need to keep having that discussion with them. It won’t take long to Suss that out

in an ideal world nrl will say perth is next, show us your bids. Then we’ll see who puts what in the table and the nrl can pick the best option.

non of that is leading with my dick lol

Abdo said the Firehawks and Jets are still a chance of getting the 18th licence and told them they should bid again. Easts Tigers will probably have their performance centre and new grandstand at Langlands Park completed by the time the 18th team enters the NRL. Once it is finished it'll be NRL ready.
Brisbane isn’t getting club 18 lol. Every comment in last 12 months has been about new markets.

Yeh no way they aren’t giving the dolphins at least five year to get
I thought the Reds rebranded as West Coast Pirates and were run by John Sackson?

The Pirates website is "parked", which could be a sign they're serious about this proposal with the Bears or decided not to pay the fees of hosting a site until they're back in SG Ball.

I didn't listen to the interview, but it doesn't surprise me they brought up points 2 and 3. Every time the Bears are asked about returning to the NRL they display delusions of grandeur and reveal they're socially backwards to the tune of 60 years. The fact they're pushing for a game against Manly at a dilapidated cricket ground shows they're unfit to run a professional rugby league club in 2022.

Why were you unsupportive of the West Coast Pirates bid but keen to back this plan to resurrect a failed Sydney club from the NSW Cup?

Peter Cumins has invested millions of dollars in junior rugby league across Perth for 15 or more years.

North Sydney Bears haven't spent a cent on RL in Perth.

Twenty-three years ago North Sydney said they were relocating to Gosford and rebranding as the Central Coast Bears. They're still based out of North Sydney and playing out of a cricket ground. A few years back they wanted to buy the Titans. This club only cares about itself and has never done anything from anyone. I do not trust them to live up to their word because they have a history of breaking promises.

Sydney gets over 100 games a year. It doesn't need any more.
i actually said Perth should be team number 20. Whether that’s the pirates or reds that’s up to them

I thought mz2 were nailed on for team 18

now that’s flipped around. By adding the bears they come in now rather than much later

I’ve never said Perth shouldnt get a team I just ranked other teams ahead of them

He provided a link before saying the bears are happy with one game a year at nso

you fabricate the most outlandish scenarios none of which ever happen

It’s impossible to rank anyone as there has been no call for bids and conflicting messages from nrl on where they want the next club.

The futures not in fta. It’s going the same way as video hire shops

Hard to say. Netflix just reported a loss. As long as FTA, pay TV or streaming have live sport they'll probably be around. That's why TV is most important revenue
