Why are you giving people your crown? You’re the know it all you seem to know everything about everyone’s life as a matter fact someone can say their favourite food is steak and you’ll laugh and argue and say no it’s actually broccoli.

So tell me Greenberg what industry are you in? What do you know that has any relevance to anything that might be of some use to something? I’m sure there’s many of us on here that are keen to find out.
Mate anyone who loses their cool like you do I doubt is in any serious position of authority. Even the bragging is a red flag, however that may just be a symptom of irrelevancy and age.

I didn’t lose my cool, I answered old mates question which he was a cynic to the answer. That can’t be helped.

As for whatever other rubbish you’re posting, clearly you’ve never been in a meeting with investors, construction directors and clients. Things get heated more often than not. You should meet Tim Gurner.

So yes there is a symptom of irrelevance and age but that’s for you.

How it was laid out to me.

The $300m already assigned to the Stadium was too much. That will come in cheaper based on Penrith's costs. Roughly $230m

The remaining $70m and another $50m ( which the NRL is matching ) for things like a CoE and housing for interstate players. Gives the $120m

The private money is seperate. Looking at the Souths model where the members own a slab of the team and sold other parts
Thanks for that. Does this then mean they have to find the $30m that the investors were bringing to the table or is it covered by the NRL's $50m contribution?

New investors are coming in bringing in more than the 30 million

Responding like that shows you`re not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Let’s see, you interjected yourself in a conversation between Greeny and I which had nothing to do with you and tried to come off as some sort of beacon of wisdom who clearly doesn’t understand the very industry you claim I don’t have authority in.

You made an assumption on a topic you know nothing about.

All this back and forth stems from the fact I said that HBF doesn’t need all the $300m allocated costs for its upgrades and can be done on a figure much closer to $200m. Greeny then questioned my qualifications in making such an assessment, so I answered him and he couldn’t accept it.

Now here you are like a mushroom sprouting up from within a cowshit trying to have your 2 cents worth. Again, if anyone here isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed it’s clearly you.

Thanks. Will be interesting how this all pans out as appears that the original bid was more than just the $20m licence fee short if the NRL is tipping in $50m and investors are bringing in more than the $30m originally reported.

With the NRL now involved, will the licence fee be waived on the premise the clubs will get a share of any future profits if and when club gets sold? is a BG required?

Titans tried to build their own CoE and went broke. NRL is learning from their mistakes and going the public funding route.

I see no issue with it. Even if he takes options off the table

Don’t know if the nrl will end up owning it I think that’s a bluff to get it over the line

The money from investors and wa govt will easily cover club set up costs plus license fee plus have money left over for other projects

One rich Sydney guy locked in and another was in the wings two weeks ago

Don’t know about who the wa investors are

Info is 2 weeks old now things would have moved forward a lot

what’s his name ? Or is this just another rumour ?

The other investors were linked to old mate cash converters… they mightn’t want to be there now after he has been overlooked

Sydney guys are new investors not Sydney kings

Didn’t ask who it was think his name should not get mentioned till this is all sorted

But two weeks ago the arl was still trying to sort out how much money wa govt puts in and who the investors are

That’s the main issues from what I can tell to resolve this

I think it’s much more likely the NRL will run the WA team initially

You call that a conversation.
You made an assumption on a topic you know nothing about.
True, but I know someone who`s desperately trying to make themselves seem important from a mile off.
Look mate, you came out a week or so ago and said this would be sorted by " late this week, early next", you lost a bit of credibility after that, I may have been too harsh, but I take what people say seriously, especially people who claim to have inside running.

One other thing, I have to seriously question the judgement of someone who shares sensitive information with someone as obviously unstable and often out of control as WB. Bloody hell if that`s the type you`d have as an ally god help you. He`s `liking` this one flat chat one day then maniacally `laughing` at everything they say the next.
You`d be far better off sharing it with someone like Perth Red, who although sometimes a bit morose, at least he has his feet on the ground, not some crazy braggart wanna-be know-it-all.

Any way all good, I`ll bite my tongue now, really want WA to get up, and am pleased the NRL are putting their money where their mouth is and going to invest in `select` priority expansion ventures, after all what else should you do with profits.

There is still a lot of water to pass under the bridge. Initial talks have been very positive.

All these reports that came out yesterday were based on news stemming from the negotiations had a few weeks ago. Im certain the situation and make up of proposal has evolved one way or another since then.

It’s true that that the info took an extra week or two to get out. However the point is it did get out. It’s not like I said something and it didn’t come to fruition, right?

I don’t control the narrative or who information is leaked too via media or timelines of information reveal nor did I ever claim any of that tbh. So fail to see how credibility is lost when things have happened as mentioned - just in a slower time frame?

All good, nothing against you I just failed to see where you’re coming from that’s all. That’s ok, we don’t have to understand where we are coming from tbh to want to see similar outcomes re: expansion.

As for your first paragraph. Knock it off, you don’t know who is who or who does what in life. Pure speculation on your part. Love ya.
