Guess you didn’t see the ticket prices for the pacific cup or hunters games lol
or the empty seats that only started filling up when they flogged the tickets off cheap 20mins into the game? Its only 15k stadium and they still struggled to fill it at those prices for 3 games a year. Imagine when there's 12 to fill.

I did m8, you are comparing Hostplus QLD Cup games to NRL costs ?, the crowds for Pacific Cup, please.
NRL games are usually scheduled for every two weeks, PNG is a povo Country, very lucky that they are funded because they ain’t making any money anytime soon from their fans when these poor buggers struggle to make a living.

NRL prices at HBF for Dolphins games - $69 behind sticks, $120 main stand. Imagine how full their stadium would be at those prices lol

They get crowds up to 10k for the Queensland cup

That’s four times what the other clubs get

10k showing up for Queensland cup games

That’s like ten times more than what the bears average at north Sydney oval

how often? Most of the games I've seen the stadium has around 5-6k in it:

Are you serious ?, what are you watching, my sons mates play in the QLD Cup, three with Burleigh Bears, one with Wynnum Manly, one captains the Northern Pride, another with Brissy Easts, another with the Western Clydesdales and a few with Tweed Seagulls.
I’ve never seen crowds up there like that, maybe for finals which the Hunters only made this year after many years missing.

You aren’t the best source for estimating png crowds

Even 6k is six times what anyone else gets

Heck it’s not far off what hull kr average in super league
So all those empty seats you can see arent really there?
So we are now down from 10k to 6k? lol, any further reductions you want to add? Id take that bet about Perth getting bigger crowds than PNG but as I know you dont pay up when you lose so it'd be pointless

no it was a throw away line in a newspaper article, which you have gleefully accepted as fact lol

Price it right (ie very low compared to normal NRL) and they should have no problem filling a small stadium every game.

I’ve spoken to my sons mates, they say the experience of travelling to Port Moresby is fun, it’s different, the locals know who they all are, are after all of their gear.
The locals are really poor, players and officials aren’t allowed to wander off.
