They are already at 730 million so far and that’s not even counting the tax incentives for all staff which are worth up to ten million pa

But its not, and after 25 years of NRl neglecting (nay insulting) WA we should be very thankful they have any interest in funding anything at all. Once in a lifetime opportunity this, Vlad better not screw it up.

Nope, the WA govt has made a very very generous offer, the NRL had the option of having a WA owned club fully funded by private ownership. So far they have turned down both good offers.
This is an AFL state, to have a state govt willing to pump the money in to a non traditional sport that they are offering is unprecedented in Australia and will not come around again. Now or never Vlad.

Leaving aside the cheque book diplomacy of the Feds pssing our money away overseas, no other state/country is offering stadium upgrades, CofE, free stadium use and grassroots funding for RL.
