Why do u get abusive?! 11k & 6k are bad crowds for NRL starved city. Fact you ignore them but keep mentioning attendance from 7 years ago shows you know this too
It’s not abusive, its stating the obvious. You are either ignoring the realities because 1. You are stupid 2. You dont agree with a perth team and are being disingenuous to make your point 3. Trolling to get a response. Take your pick.

it’s incredibly unlikely perth is getting under 10k crowd avg. the fact we have sold out games a number of times and only drawn one sub 6k crowd in 15 rugby league games in perth is enough evidence to show the actual size of the active rl fanbase here, a base that’s only growing as people continue to move to perth from nsw and qlnd and north of england.
Ignore it all you like, you’re just making yourself look stupid.

Trend is just like Christchurch which i said before checking the figures (won't get credit for that). After initial interest the numbers dropped. You keep touting 20k figure knowing full well city couldn't sustain it. Took just 4 games for drop. Now expand that over 12 home games..

Same as what? It’s not the same, a club starting at 12k has potential to grow, a club that’s taken 100 years to get to 12k is well, not exactly flourishing is it?

Sure. We need to get rid of clubs that do crowds of only 12k & replace them with team that does 12k..

Dump teams which do 12k to bring in that does 12k - great logic
Expansion teams in Adelaide and Perth are a long-term investment that will take decades to deliver meaningful results. Give them two or three decades and there's a strong chance of them carving out a sizeable niche that cements rugby league as a viable alternative to fumbleball for local residents.

The Sydney Swans and Brisbane Lions have provided AwFuL with a platform in Australia's largest and third largest cities that didn't exist in 1980. Participation rates have improved significantly.

Sydney teams have had over 100 years to cement a sizeable fanbase, yet many have failed miserably. There's no reason to think they'll fare any better over the next 100 years.

And you are ignoring that the crowds fluctuate for a variety of reasons. Vlandys coming out and telling rl fans in the west they are a waste of money didn’t exactly endear the nrl to fans here. I skipped my first game since I got here due to that insult. We have shown countless times we CAN draw a big crowd to neutral games. No reason to believe all those RL fans won’t get behind their own club here, it’s not like 15k fans just fell off into the into ocean lol

The argument against Christchurch wouldn’t be support (at least not the main one). The main arguments would be the size of the city and the potential difficulties with corporate support. These are the same issues that Newcastle or Canberra have had in their history particularly considering they are similar sized cities. Also the Warriors being dismal at the moment doesn’t help but I’d be confident that such a side would work with the right support and investment.

Once regular games started in 2009 the 4th crowd was actually 15,599. 3 20k+ crowds came in the years after that plus 38k at the double header.

But let’s be honest you already knew that you just choose to cherry pick to suit your agenda. Bring back Glebe!

Hey before Glebe you have to have Newtown don’t you. What about Annandale or University?

Good point. Annandale had cracking colours. Don’t know about University.

Essentially what some people want is the Shute Shield
Tbf pippin is on his own on this one lol
hard to say if he is really so dumb he thinks Picking one crowd is good evidence of a likely supporter base, or if he’s just trolling to get attention as he’s a bit of a sad loner.

Aside from diminishing returns for NRL in place it's rarely been, there's also new stadium buzz as well. I'm right about all these..
