And the next rl game will get 60k attending and 100k watching on fta lol. You see the problem with cherry picking figures is it makes you look an idiot. look for the patterns, perth has a healthy rl following that can fill a stadium, that is a fact. If the new club can attract them on a regular basis, we’ll that is yet to be seen but we can clearly see the potential is there to achieve it.

Ur not getting a state of origin team - u hope to be getting an NRL team but only 6k watch live or on tv

Well if a predicted post covid economic downturn eventuates

We may lose the Warriors

Then I could the NRL staying at 16 or just going with CC Bears and Ipswich in a safety first approach
Honestly, I wouldn't be too surprised if that happens.

So basically you’re making your long term judgement on perth crowds based on one game out of 12 featuring two neutral teams that was played in horrible weather? . You’re an idiot.
Yes I see that logic being applied to crowd figures between 1997-99 during the SL War in Sydney

Because one is referring to regular games whilst the other is referring to one off fixtures. The only evidence you can use to refer to regular season crowds is back in that timeframe.

It won’t happen mate. The bloke suggesting that is a bloke wanting the return of a glorified NSW Cup competition.

You need some assistance though with pathways and structure. Starting with getting a new coach. Honestly Nathan Brown makes Stephen Kearney look like Wayne Bennett. I’ve never seen a coach more devoid of answers

Redcliffe got 6k to their last NRL game. Interest dropping off.

That’s how this works right?

Don’t worry mate. He’ll now say that crowds don’t mean anything. He often changes the parameters of an argument to suit his bias.

I live in Perth and didn't go to that manly warriors game. That doesn't mean my interest in league had diminished. I never went and watched manly v warriors when I lived in Sydney either.

What about the 11k games?! Weather? Traffic? Catering tents?!
What about them? 11k is the normal crowd in Sydney for an nrl Game. Perth will get 11k to some games and 20k to some others depending on a wide range of factors, just like every other nrl club except broncos.

only 146k watched nrl in sydney on fta the other night, by your logic that means there’s only that many rl fans in Sydney lol. You’re an idiot.

I wont, we should be at least at the 15kmark if the club is run properly.
The club will be competing with Western Force, West Coast Eagles, Fremantle Dockers, Perth Glory and Perth Wildcats for active supporters. It will also have the misfortune of having to assemble a roster from scratch during an era when quality spine players are rare. They'll be a mid-table team at best and will probably struggle like the Titans for most of their first ten years. If they can convince 12k to 14k fans to turn up to Perth Oval over ten years then they'll be doing better than many Sydney clubs.

Yeh for sure a lot depends on form, no one wants to spend $50 to watch their team play sht. Hopefully the nrl comes to its senses and does something about supporting recruitment For the next club. I k ow for a fact there is 20-25k active rl fans in left at least. A well run club should be targeting 20k members at least from day one and a 15k crowd avg.

Why do u get abusive?! 11k & 6k are bad crowds for NRL starved city. Fact you ignore them but keep mentioning attendance from 7 years ago shows you know this too

Dump teams which do 12k to bring in that does 12k - great logic
