Well it would be different for teams like Melbourne and the Western Bears who are in AFL locations, but yes, teams with weaker junior areas who latch onto an area, develop it and call it their own, most certainly.
Penrith are spending money on Bathurst

storm don’t put much into their qld feeder teams

not the same

those qld juniors would be funded by the qrl or a local leagues club which the storm arr bludging off

its about growing junior numbers

if x club goes to area and gets kid. That hasn't played in another system he is a junior
At what age?
afe you suggesting if a club signs a player for sg ball that has previously been in a hm ball side of another club they shouldn’t then count as a jnr developed plAyer of that club, even though they may have been 1 year in the first nrl clubs system and 6 in the second?

Well no most have been in programs from 14.

Most u15's in schoolboy tournaments are aligned with a club.

Another club scout poaching that kid isn't junior development. Clubs need to be encouraged to go to the bush and get their own 14 year olds

We’ll see if the statistics carry over or not.
If they do, then the Dolphins have every right to claim their two first grade premierships. ARL was created in 1995 to supersede the NSWRL and QRL competitions as the only first grade competition in Australia. If every other first grade premiership pre 1995 counts, then so should the Dolphins' of 1965 and 1994

Maybe other teams will develop talent. Instead of throwing money at players in others teams system as 'development'
I agree 100% and have been saying this for years, if all teams start doing what the Roosters and the Bulldogs have been doing, rugby league will die a slow death.
If it takes the Panthers winning 15 straight premierships for other clubs to start developing their junior nurseries is that such a bad thing ?.
Whenever expansion is disgussed the first thing people say is that there isn’t enough talent, maybe look at your own clubs and find the answers why ?.
Clubs are looking for a quick fix to be competitive, to win that premiership but it doesn’t work that way.

Exactly
This is why I want Penrith to keep winning the nrl to make all the bludger clubs copy them
