Bears score to level 22 all

Then on the attack on the jets line throw an intercept for the jets winner.

Prepare for my RANT lol, why would the Bears coaching staff drop regular halfback Ben Stevanovic (22 games) and play the untried halves combination on Grand Final day of young halfback Harradyn Wilson (6 games) and regular 5/8 Kieran Hayman (returning to the halves from fullback due to the inclusion of livewire Storm young gun Sua Faalogo.
Selecting Storm player Bronson Garlick at hooker over Rua Ngatikaura (21 games) and Jayden Yates (20 games), then moving Garlick to the back row when interchange hooker Nathaniel Roache came on when you have experienced back rowers like Joe Chan, Ativalu Litasi, Ben Talty and Matty Stimson there, seriously wtf Bears ?.
The Bears had a great season exploding out of the blocks early, we were hit hard by the loss of Coach Pat Weisner to the betting scandal, then losing four games and a draw before regrouping to clinch the Minor Premiership.
Losing NSW Cup fullback of the year Jake Toby with four rounds remaining to a season ending foot injury ironically against Newtown in round 23 also hurt the Bears badly.
Tryscoring winger Allan Fitzgibbon has signed with the Gold Coast Titans for 2025 & 2026 seasons.
From talk last night official confirmation of the Western Bears will be announced in around two weeks (shhhh it’s a secret).

Don’t worry in a week or two you will have something to be happier about than … let’s be honest … a meaningless trophy

I posted a map of clubs areas in Sydney on the crowds thread and the bears area is amongst the biggest in Sydney

And that’s not even talking about the money their area has

Here’s some of d.fairleigh talking about the bears demise to James graham

The video before talks about super league

Despite the loss it was a great atmosphere yesterday at Commbank Stadium, a sea of red & black, the Bears faithful totally outnumbered the Jets fans.
The official crowd 10,386.
Many Bulldogs fans from Jersey Flegg made the Jets blue and white numbers look larger than they actually were plus Sharks fans from the Jersey Flegg and Tarsha Gale Grand Finals stuck around.
The Bears had six NRL contracted Storm players (our most all season) while the Jets had nine NRL contracted Sharks players.
Jason Taylor said the same thing last night, yes it’s great winning two Minor Premierships and it’s hard losing two Grand Finals the announcement in a few weeks will just wipe away everything.
There was just so much positivity about the pending announcement of the Western Bears yesterday.

Bears continue to keep doing Bears things.

Good luck Perth.
Unfortunately the WA CAS men’s team had a very Bears moment yesterday when they lost to VIC 12-10.
There was half a minute remaining when WA got a penalty to the left of the posts, if WA had kicked the goal they would have won the CAS Championship with a superior for and against points differential, it was a very easy kick but it sailed to the left of the uprights.

JT said there is no hope of him going to WA, he just isn’t interested in going over there at this stage of his life.
Yes lots of Bears fans, not all old fellas like myself (55 years) either.
