I mean it's definitely not, basketball is an indoor sport.
Except Melbourne United play an outdoor game every year...
Multiple venues got used. Across Hoopsfest... 1 I thought were outside.

Kinda is not specificallyThat might depend on the deal they get from the WA Government if it includes favourable rental terms ie corporate box revenues etc. as is done for West Coast and Fremantle at Optus Stadium
If stadium redevelopment and construction is a condition of the Lincense deal, then it kinda is for rugby league.
Look at my reply to you previous to this one. Then what is the discussion about?
Labor voter logic lol.Lu peanuts 12 months ago: The WA govt has to bulid a stadium for Perth to get an NRL club as HBF park not up to the job
WA govt announces if Perth gets a team the stadium will be rebuilt
LU Peanuts: Yeh but its not for NRL
never change LU peanuts, never change!
sigh, no one is saying it is an NRL stadium. The INVESTMENT they are spending on the stadium is for the NRL club, no other reason. Once again for the hard of learning. No NRL club, no HBF upgrade.10 games of NRL v 20 Force/Glory and several concerts....
Yep is an NRL stadium
In a indoor stadium with a retractable roof.Except Melbourne United play an outdoor game every year...
Multiple venues got used. Across Hoopsfest... 1 I thought were outside.
It did make me chuckle.LOL, they play basketball thrre do they?? Could you show your ignorance any better?
As long as its going to grass roots, and isnt such a stupid ask it makes the WA govt give up dealing with them, and not the NRL coffers then its a good thing for WA rugby league.Pvl will get more out of them which isn’t necessarily a bad thing
In a indoor stadium with a retractable roof.
It's laughable that you think basketball is regularly played on an outdoor rectangular grass field.
It's also ridiculous to try to discredit any upgrade to HBF Park because it's not "solely for the NRL"
Wa govt want this badlyAs long as its going to grass roots, and isnt such a stupid ask it makes the WA govt give up dealing with them, and not the NRL coffers then its a good thing for WA rugby league.
It is, but when one of these experts of all things Perth stumbles I'm gonna pull them up.its an easy mistake to make.

They don't, and they will.Wa govt want this badly
I thought you considered yourself an intelligent poster? So the argument some are putting forward is that unless the stadium can only be used for NRL it does not constitute the WA govt providing funding for an NRL team. Ain't ever going to happen, especially in a non NRL or even a pro NRL state.
Ding ding ding. We have a winnerId doubt the NRL will get management of the stadium. All WA Gov venues are run through Venues West. Might also upset the Glory and Force.
yeh I can see that conversation.Yes I am sure no one at the Glory or Force haven't been lobbying for upgrades...
The very thread has suggested (rightly) that any Perth Bid should consider stadium upgrades.
And suddenly when this of offered, via the Tax Payer, its "not good enough, because they also might play Frisbee golf there too"
yeh I can see that conversation.
WA clubs: err can you spend another $300mill plus on HBF park please to add more boxes and capacity.
WA govt: dont you only get 7k to games and sell only a third the current boxes?
clubs: err yeh
WA govt: ok bye.
