Means if it falls over bears will go somewhere else whilst Perth will have no team

Highlights how important the bears are to the arl

Canterbury colours in nz are bears colours
PNG Bears god no. That would be horrible. I’d rather any location with the exception of PNG.
I think he just singularly referred to WA just as the Bears.

The commission is absolutely having a close look at this to make sure we get a business case that’s viable and then we can take it to our stakeholders and members.

this chapter has good summary at how poor reds were run at the time and lessons to be learnt for future endeavors in west aussie at around 22 mins in.

this is a great poddy never heards of it this week. there's stuff spoken on this poddy that no one ever really touches on and perthwrongs has claimed opposite. maybe the coffee dates with old reds geriatrics didn't highlight the truths. who knows.

plenty other chapters talking about many topics. if ya like ya league history then give it a listen.

The intimation was that the NRL and WA govt would choose the board members. Its possible the NRL has been talking to its preferred people and the WA govt to people in the West, but there has been no rumours on this side of that happening yet.

Why would the WA gov have a say in the board members? Aren't they only committing to funding the supporting infrastructure and upgrades to facilities that will be communally used?

But according to Perth red it was all because

A) arl made them pay travel costs last minute when they weren’t budgeted for (which was a lie)

B) the aero Introduced more teams than expected and the extra travel for two teams wouldve sent them broke

Thanks for posting something that doesn't say anything new.

There wouldn’t have been a post in this thread since December if that was the case…

I think there has been 4 different articles posted in the last 24 hours telling us that Abdo is “optimistic “ about the Perth team

If you're spending $400mill for the clubs benefit you get a say lol. WA govt are very nervous about ensuring the club does well and remains in Perth. Not surprising they would want to make sure the board is the right people.

now whose lieing, Ive never said A).
It was well known fromday one, and the club signed on knowing A) would be the case.

B) is true, they added an extra team and its costs at a later date and it blew the budget forecasts.
