WA BEARS

The temp training facilities at Ken Allen field are already underway. There was a big development plan for this area already committed to by State and local Govt and they are just tagging the Bears facilities on to it.

Double header looks slow at moment, Theres a lot of disgruntlement at the moment in the WA RL community and that may be reflected in ticket sales. Many sick of investing in NRL and getting the run around. Hopefully it picks up in next couple of weeks if we get some positive news.

Perth Origin is June 18th. May coincide, or may not lol.
It would want to be a decent makeover, Ken Allen Field is a very underwhelming facility.

Lots of disheartened responses at Club land. Heard of a couple examples of our best talented 17/18 yr olds being disheartened and moving to Rugby pathways.
Yes but that is for players now who probably do have to make decisions now for their futures.
It would be harder for WA players atm as well as their State competes on a lower tier level to both NSW and QLD.

there was a plan announced to spend $25m on it , to be used as a temporary measure before their main COE is constructed in Malaga …

This was back in the pre election blow up days though when money flowed a bit more freely

Thats just feeding into peoples frustrations that have been growing since October 6th.

Of course the AFL loving Liberal leaning paper will keep at him, now he has said it wasnt an election issues as no deal done he cant suddenly announce a deal is done. Vlandys keeps stoking the fire with ill thought through comments.
Yeah I`m starting to wonder if PVL`s ego is a little bit out of control to be honest, appearing in that MacDonalds` ad is one of the most bizarre things I`ve ever seen from a sports` administrator.

Yep as a 17/18 year old move yourself to NSW/QLD - hope you have a relative their or your family are happy to relocate.

Otherwise get pulled into the Force.

Trying to please everyone and pleasing no one will be their biggest hurdle. Good luck to them.

It wouldn’t have been what I would have done …but it’s the only team that’s going to be on offer apparently …and if they don’t make it work they aren’t getting a third chance …fans can still go and watch them play every second week same as anyone else ..provided they keep total control with Perth interests they should be ok

They need to be competitive from the start. Neutrals will drop off pretty quick if they're are going busted.

By the time the Perth bears enter the nrl the force will be on their last legs

All the millions union has spent developing juniors will go straight to the Perth bears

Just like the storm are benefitting now from the death of the rebels

I hope they have a plan then to get them competitive…normally they don’t do much to help out new teams …except the Storm …and I go all the way back to remembering Illawarra and Canberra joining ….their first few years were painful
