Dam, literally the one work day I am not on the city is the day of the announcement. Oh well, looks like there will be plenty more events to attend

Perth Bears: Premier Roger Cook reveals all in NRL announcement posted to TikTok

Roger Cook, who has insisted for weeks there was no official deal with the NRL, appears to have recorded a video detailing the agreement a week before he announced it to taxpayers.
The Premier put an end to the deal speculation on Wednesday with an announcement on social media at 1pm, in a video filmed in his Parliament House office.
His watch reads 2.55pm at the time of filming.
In the video Mr Cook can be seen wearing the same tie and suit as last Wednesday, pictured right, when Parliament was sitting, meaning that he filmed it shortly after Question Time finished that day.

Despite his obvious knowledge of what he had agreed to with Australian Rugby League Commission chairman Peter V’Landys, Mr Cook has claimed several times in the past week he had not received a response from the league. On Saturday, Mr Cook said: “I haven’t heard from the NRL in any official capacity.
He then doubled down two days later: “I literally haven’t heard anything.
“Obviously, I get snippets of east coast sports media, like you all do, I’m watching it with with a level of amusement.”

On Tuesday, the Premier said: “We aren’t in a position to make a form of announcement.” And asked earlier on Wednesday if a deal had been reached, Mr Cook said the conversations were “very, very positive, and they’re very, very close”.
“I can confirm that the conversations have continued over the last 48 hours I can confirm that those conversations have been very positive,” he said.
“I cannot confirm the numbers, and when we are in a position to do so, we will make that completely transparent and available to the WA public.”

I wonder how TheWorst journos can type this garbage properly when they are constantly holding Basil's fouled and soiled undies in their hands, taking big whiff's and sniff's of the skid marked shit stains while attempting to type on their keyboards.
