Pfft had the Stormscum won last night simostorm et al would've been trolling the general forum with more arrogance. So yeah, f*ck you and your club

Are you telling me that we dont get truckloads of arrogance from St George fans on these forums? Get a grip mate. Of all the clubs in the league, some St George fans are the biggest internet heros.

I'll back the Storm any day of the week. I'm not a fan of the club, but I dont for one minute think that others havent done what they've done and I actually think we should have given them concessions towards the cap in the first place.

If I were a Storm fan, I'd be f**king waving my money at opposition clubs whilst singing "up yer arse, right up your arse, go stick your sanctions up your arse, you've won f**k all, you've got no class, go stick your sanctions up your arse" or "we've got the trophy, we got the trophy, you aint, you aint" would have been my response to Parra last night.

But that's the Englishman in me.

Yeah, and your response proves what a narrow-minded fool you are.

and your response proves that we are yet to find the perfect combination of toppings to create the best pizza ever.
Actually it doesn't, but I just thought I'd mention that since I am currently cooking what I will label the best pizza ever.

How are you going with that plan to get em back playing for points again? Finch to Superleague, Lima to Canberra? She'll be right aye? No sweat. Have you got enough down to put it into motion yet?

Whilst I admire your attitude and bravery Lambretta, as a person who has dipped his toes into professions that could be put on the 'dis' side of honest, I would think that unless you had a wall between yourself and the much higher number of people you were doing that to, it would indeed end badly for any supporter who would have been dumb enough to do that at Parra on friday night.
Brave and ballsy it would have been, but they would have fought bravely and been beaten very badly, and I f**king hate fights where it gets above one on one, but consider the locale mate.
Maybe something they should possibly maybe think about doing in Melbourne where the numbers are more in their favor.

I consider myself a 'reasonable' Melbourne Storm fan and as a result of this:
I don't read the majority of the posts that are just Stormbaiting - what's the point?
I accept that MY club broke the rules - deliberately for the past five years.
Feel that the value of large part of MY life for the past five years was taken away.
Feel let down by the NRL for not protecting my interests, and those of every other NRL supporter.
Accept that the players did not know what was going on (as stated players would have to sign more than one contract - if they are on 3rd party CONTRACTS)
Get extremely frustrated with News Ltd giving information to newspapers that have not been offically released.
Support in principal the legal action, because the NRL did not follow due process (although I do agree with the penalty - the point of the legal action is about due process)
Wish the NRL was a more professional organisation that didn't have to really on wistle blowers to find the fraud (If they were caught in 2005!!)
Still support the club 100% - because they are my team.
Can't wait for the audit to be over so we can start preparing for 2011 and try to get over the horror of this season
Have to say - the Storm players don't act apologetic - because they don't particularly care if the supporters of other teams think them arrogant - they show the same attitude of THEIR fans - feel ripped off for having the past five years of their Rugby League careers wiped out. If I feel devistated for having put so much time effort and cash into following the team - they have 100x more reason to be pissed of.

I admire your loyality to the Storm....However...

The Storm players, club and fans need to wake up to themselves. Cameron Smith and his THREE contracts (including the third one secretly stashed away with a club executive), the illegal contracts that players sighted each other signing, the perks and rots and worst of all the complete lack of remourse from the Storm players is pathetic.

The Storm fans should not be vilified or attacked, intimidated etc. They supported their team in a parochail town that hates League.

However, if Storm fans get upset or cry over being called cheats, they need to harden up.... When you were cheating the cap during 2006 (the losing grand final) remember how it felt to lose that Grand Final. Then put yourself in the shoes of a side who has gone over 20 years without a Grand Final and have a think how we feel getting beaten by a bunch of cheats playing with a squad at least $700k over the cap.

Seriously, take the boo's and the 'cheat' calls on the chin, dont accept violent or intimidating behaviour, and hope and pray your side gets under the cap and starts playing by the rules like the rest of us in 2011.

I get your point, but what Storm officials, players, and fans need to understand is that this whole saga isn't just about them. The whole NRL is suffering from what the Storm did, every other club in the competition is suffering from what the Storm did. Storm fans need to sit back and stop feeling sorry for themselves and consider the detrimental effect their club's rorting has to not only other clubs, but to the NRL and rugby league in general.

Yeah, my big mouth will get me killed one of these days.
It's the cockney geezah in me I suppose. Too many afternoons in East London watching West Ham.

BDH,

I agree with the sentiment of your OP. However, you should know that most fans don't have issues with the Storm fans. This is an internet forum where trolls like simostorm would feed inner trolls of other posters.

IMO Schadenfreude finished with the most eels fans after last friday's game.

Haven't read this thread, but I'll reply to the original post.

When the Storm, either collectively as an organisation, or individually (and it really doesn't matter which individual) apologises for the calculated damage they have done to the game, then I will lay off them.

Until such time, they are more than fair game.

I can't get my head around people who want an apology from the Storm players! FMD. Atleast us storm fans know who's in the wrong here, and its definitely not the players. Feel free to prove me wrong though.

I think the players who knew they were getting paid outside the cap should apologise. The innocent players don't need to apologise. Some Storm fans need to wake up and realize there club cheated though..

God this sh*t is getting old, I have avoided most of these threads like the plague but sh*t is getting ridiculous.
Yes we cheated, well I didn't cheat but the club I support systematically cheated the cap, but until all auditing and investigations are over there will be no apologies from any players or Bellamy. I personally know a few players that are on minimum or close to minimum wage and they have absolutely nothing to apologise for and are shattered about everything that has been going on.
The players that did not know about the rorting are just as much victims as everyone else, so don't assume all are guilty of cheating.

Regarding the baiting and abuse of Storm fans on this forum, I couldn't really care less, as long as you play the ball not the man, say what you want to say. I don't know any of you personally so your bagging of us Storm fans doesn't mean sh*t to me.
The only problem I have is with some people judging all storm fans on simostorm's posts.
