All the fair dictum tries were scored by us.. two or was it three of theirs were from kicks with two almost identical tap backs from bombs. Have been screaming for the Lomax side to get more leather and today it did but Ramsay spoilt Zac and Rava's party twice with some blistering line speed which led to spectaular Red V tries.
I also think there will need to be a position in the team for Sloan, whether on the wing or a bit closer in, as he reads the game well and brings additional attacking options.
Have been saying the same. But where do we play him with Ramsay all but locking fullback with that performance. Agree, with Tyrell's ball skills and vision he'd be at home in the halves.

You have got fantastic vision of the future Gareth as you are spot on! Haha! Well done.
Been ever so busy of late doing work on the house , now only get the chance at night to post .

However reading the comments from the members it seemed to be a hard fought game , alas one that was error ridden .

Shame that the boys can not produce the form they had when playing on Anzac Day . Although with both Su’a and Moose out a lot of starch was missing in our defense .

Su'a is definitely missed by us. Defence and attack wise. Moose also is missed so hopefully when both return our squad and the way we play will be much better.

Just a few quick points about today and things in general-
Sloan was terrible in the first match-missing in defence for a try or two.I think Ramsay definitely has fullback for a while now
With crowds like today, no wonder were not considered for a stadium update. Sadly our numbers just dont make sense for only 6 games a year
The food at Kogarah costs a bomb-$4.50 for a packet of chips!!. Used to be a working mans game.
First half we were so average and all one-out running with no forwards who could pass the ball.Second half we were so much better, but we still only scrapped it against the Warriors.
Once again-caned in the penalty dept. I too constantly blame the Refs but it cant be all of them.We just need to play smarter. Between sinbins and penalties were constantly wrecking our own game.
Anyway I'll take the win-at least i left Kogarah happy

It is unfortunate about the crowds. Moreso when you watch other games being played and the numbers are generally high with spectators, although I don't think that there were too many at the SCG watching the Roosters play the Panthers tonight.

If our team was playing better and exciting football and actually winning more games, our crowds will come back in droves.

The other thing is that again I say that the club just isn't doing that much to attract people to the games. The Media and Promo people have virtually been non existent.

We are firmly entrenched as one of the average teams.

The crowd numbers are generous if you ask me. It's an ugly and frustrating brand of footy of a team going around in circles as far as progression goes.

Not sure we beat any other team than the Warriors today (they take the cake in the frustrating department) but by the same token our 5-6 record defies logic. Could be in the 8 if last week had went the other way. Am I that harsh a judge or are the bottom team just all as woeful as each other?

Our defence remains woeful.

Our lack of go forward in the forwards prevents fast play the balls and limits our ability to create second phase ball.

For those who felt that the size of the crowd was poor, they should consider:

1. We played the Warriors
2. Team form has been mediocre
3. Our prospects of challenging for a top 6 spot disintegrated very early in the season
4. The weather was as in inviting as our play

Particularly no 1. Despite the rhetoric I really never have seen the benefit of having them in the comp.

Perhaps Get Smarty can help out here.
Do the Dragons have an after match function/presentation , say , at the Leagues Club as used to happen years ago , to mingle with fans and sponsors etc ???
Found it ODD that one of our Team "Sharon" was on air 2 hours later calling the Chooks/panthers game on MMM ...
So much for team harmony etc OR we are paying him peanuts and MMM are paying him big overs .....

That's right, tries from kicks don't count.

That is no excuse. Newcastle fans turn up if it's freezing cold and they've lost 7 straight. I don't understand why us Dragons fans don't turn up.
