Talk in Foxsports news is that Souths are interested in Meninga as the interim coach for the remainder of this year and Wayne from next year onwards. Both strong personalities that can take charge of strong willed players, that know the rep guys well and can get the dressing room united and all on the same page.

I like it.

As an outsider and being serious (for once). The last person you want is Bennett. The predicament you are in now is a lot due to his previous stints. Not all of you will agree, but he has done much more damage to clubs than good.
The person you want is someone that will instill some discipline. Its time that the players stop running the roost.
The club (as in the admin) need to back up a disciplinarian and not pander to players whinging.

You will find that's part of the formula for successful clubs.

The only problem with Bennett at clubs he's been to before is the succession plans for after he's left. This time, don't have one. Just choose the best option for when his time is up without having one of his assistants follow in his footsteps.

He's never had attitude and discipline problems when he has been coach. Only his number 2 that follows in his shadow has.
