TBH I think if McCullum is captain we bowl them out for 150... then probably get 151/9 lol

Pounding in the end but we certainly had our chance and poor selection, poor batting (with quality fast bowling) and passive leadership cost us

Semi finals is where it’s at and of course the final

These dead rubber games are nice to win but we did our job prior to this match (making the semis)

Here’s hoping kiwis belt poms in their next match

Eels bye next week, Aussies playing dead rubbers, I might be cracking tooheys all week long I reckon, bliss

Taylor has managed 233 runs vs Latham's 41 over 6 innings. Latham has also been striking at 49. I just don't see him having the same goodwill Taylor and Guptill do. A career average of 32 and some average keeping doesn't compel me to retain him.

The kiwis should open with Latham. He is an opening bat. Sure he has to keep wicket as well and the fear of burnout is there however opening is his spot.

Nicholls probably should be the one coming in at 5

I think if Clarke is captain we get McCullum out in the first over, roll NZ for about 180 and chase it down in about 30 overs.

Wait. That already happened.

Quality win in the end, Starc absolutely killing it since India blitzed him early in the tournament. Superb knock from Carey, and a vital innings from Khawaja. Some good signs that we can still conjure up a good total if the openers can't score many.
Smith very unlucky so far, reckon he's primed for a big score.
