yes but seasons overlap and especially if the a-league needs the ground for finals. I assume they need to cut the grass shorter for soccer as well.

35k sounds about right. The AFL are pushing their western sydney franchise, and regardless of what anyone says, sit back on your hands and ignore them, then you will pay the price. As well, issues like parking are genuine ones and need addressing....it's not rocket science though. I remember back when the current stadium was being considered....height law this, friends of parra park that...god knows what legal eagles would earn out of increasing the size of the stadium these days. I am all for it............I would gladly go knowing I could get a good seat, reasonable parking, a short waiting time for a beer and food that won't end up on the footpath after the game.

I'n not arguing that point, I'm just saying that let's not think all will continue to be rosey in the golden west. The AFL will be as determined to claim their plot of turf in the west just as much as the NRL continue to do in Melbourne with the Storm. I am all for Parra stadium to be increased to 35,000 and I think it wll need to happen in the future.

I think the GWS will have less of an impact in Sydney than the Storm have in Melbourne... which is not very much at all
