what if it were spur of the moment decision...much like 50% of crowd attendants i say?
you would know as well as me that Parramatta has a huge amount of walk up supporters to the game.
do i need to go on?
I'll call bullsh*t on that figure you've plucked from nowhere.
In any case, for big matches you pre book.
Doesnt matter whether it's for a regular season home and away or a state of origin. If you want to go, you buy a ticket.
Fish were you happy with the previous stadium capacity?
The 27,000?
Yep. That seemed pretty good.
oh that's right, you'd rather the government spend the money on something more worthwhile huh? like the piss cakes in the parramatta CBD public toilets...which probably equal the cost of a stadium upgrade lol
See, now you're just making sh*t up.
It's actually quite important that Governments spend money on sporting infrastructure because it's in the public good.
I wouldnt be upset if either the state or federal government announced funding tomorrow to increase the stadium capacity, so you need to have that discussion with someone who doesnt want the government to spend money on football stadiums.
Fact is though, there are a heap of pressures on both state and federal government budgets and conflicting priorities, for example, why upgrade Parramatta Stadium to 40,000 ( a figure people have used in here), when there is no evidence that figure would be reached on a regular basis and two, there is a stadium a stones throw away that has that capacity, and that the club has shown a willingness to play in?
