I'd also like to take a small moment to say thanks for not booting me out as of yet ever since I started posting sporadically this year. I'm thrilled to have briefly met a few of you as well, though given I'm not particularly memorable I spose it doesn't matter a great deal (just briefly: 19yo Biomedicine student at Newie Uni, hails from good ole Edgeworth, likes getting caught in the rain etc)

welcome everyone new - a tip though - try to get the 'vibe' of the place before just jumping in - you will only have a hard time if you are blatantly stupid or rude (not that we are all well-mannered rocket scientists, but you get what I mean...). This place is like a 'home' to alot of people, and just like you wouldn't have someone come into your home and do a cr@p on your rug, no one here wants sh!t everywhere here.

Just to clear somethings up, I'm about the only Kiwi here and part-time member of the Crusade. I was around a bit on the old forum but I didn't think I was really that memorable (thanks Oswin, you've made my day! ).

I've been here at LU from near on the early days. I remember when it seemed like only Bedsy and Roopy were the only two posters, and I was even one of the first moderators in TFC *skites cause she won TFC Moderator Survivor* (probably owes Roopy a beer for that as well).

While I understand that to new people the regulars may seem a bit clique at times, we are I believe, a genuinely friendly bunch and all new views and members are what keep this forum fresh and fun.

Aha, I knew one of you was a Kiwi, or at least Kiwi-based. Things like that stick in my head -- let's face it, there aren't many Knights forummers in New Zealand.

In truth, my memory of the old forum has faded. I know I talk about the old forum a lot, but it's only because many forget that there was a good thing going there until a person, who shall remain not-so-anonymous, stuffed it for everyone.

In truth, the LU site offers a lot more bells and whistles than that humble old forum. But I still miss Wayne and the gang -- I'm sure he doesn't miss the watchdog role he used to play though. Kaz/Broncos_Fan made him busy. It was a good little community though -- such a shame it went pear-shaped, one-day, without warning or explanation, because of one individual.
