If there are forwards from that game who back up then every back should, too, unless they are injured.

If he really has turned the corner from being a sooky little whinger to being a true leader then he should play. Nothing will show it better than pulling on the jersey on Friday.

Oh, dear. And I thought you'd turned the corner from being a sooky little Hayne-hater. I hope they rest him. He is one tough player, but he's carrying a shoulder injury and probably other injuries as well. He broke down after game one last year. Stupid to risk that again. We're in the top four with a 2 point buffer (and for and against advantage) over the Tigers and the Titans. Melbourne are playing without Cronk this weekend, so they could lose against the Cowboys. We can afford to rest him. (But we can't afford to lose him for an extended period.)

If he's injured then don't play him but plenty of players that had the shit beaten out of them will play, so HaHa should be considered, too.

Blow me.

Lara Pitt on Sterlo just stating that Idris has been stood down for disciplinary reasons.

We have won the past two wooden spoons.
We don't have the luxury of taking a breather against ANY sides let alone
a current top 4.
If he's got a niggling injury , ley him rest so as not to aggravate it.
If he's fit , we need him to play.
His presence alone ensures the panthers have one less eye to keep on the likes of Hoppa , Sandow and Semi

On the news they had a list of all the injuries from last night. They listed Hayne's actual injury: exhaustion

Anyone who dares to criticise Hayne is a "Hayne-Hater"???

What a complete load of horse plop. The guy is not infallible. Take your hand off your shaft and accept that like anyone, Hayne is not exempt from criticism.

Blow me.

Brb busting my hamstring and shoulders but going to train 110% in the gym anyway because 'dat Aussie heart brah'.

Brb training through injury because '<healthy player>' is doing the same.

Brb confusing 'heart' with 'stupidity'.

....

Inb4 Hayne is out for the rest of the season...Again :)

Apart from players that are injured no other players are being rested. Jennings is playing , thurston is playing, inglis is playing etc. Even cherry-Evans who was on crutchers last night is doing his best to play.

I don't see exhaustion as reason to rest him. Harden up Hayne and play (unless you have a injury)
