In the end, we need to win more games than we lose to make the semis. Hayne has backed up before after starring in Origin, and has played ok. He has also been injured before. Hayne doesn't get to write the team sheet, the coach does.
I agree with what Arthur did, do not play him, have him rest and be ready to slaughter Cows at home. Teach team to play without him so we can work on what went poorly in the matchup with Dogs the week after (no Origin players again).
