Just had to bump this little snippet. However, there's always the risk that the Eels will get lapped in a game at any time, especially away from home, whereas the Panthers don't give that feeling.

We lacked organisation or "structure." Personally I wasn't impressed with Norman. In hindsight, Luke Kelly may have been better for this game.
Impressed with the progress our young pack is making. We needed better organisation, bit more grind to actualise the attacking threat that our pack and backs possess.
It was losing the ruck that killed us. Everything else fell from there.
Justin Hunt was never that bad behind Souths' pack.
When Hayne is injured/resting we are always a huge chance of getting lapped. I know a lot of parra fans (myslef included) were confident we'd lose once Arthur said Hayne won't play. We are a one man team. I'm fine with that because he is that good. Like Johns with Newcastle. But when you are a 1 man team you can't be resting that 1 man
Losing the ruck definately lost us the game but it was not the forwards who made Hunt drop so much ball and not contest bombs
Hayne played when Parra conceded 56 vs Roosters. He also played when Parra conceded 42 vs Cowboys. Blaming Hayne's absence is just an excuse. He would not have made any difference tonight and might well have got hurt, he would have been very heavily spotted.
Parramatta just didn't turn up to play tonight, that is the long and short of it. They could not stop the opposition making easy metres up the middle all night long. Hayne would have made no difference to this situation, unless you expect him to do the forwards work 2 days after completely exhausting himself in Origin.

In 27 games that Hayne has been missing we only have won 4....
