Being my own boss I don't really need a letter @Old tiger 79 , but if you could find the time to send one to every one of my customers, personalised would be best, that'd be awesome of you.

Please advise email addy and I'll send you the database.

No my main source of evidence is the way we play and he hasn't addressed almost any of our short comings either in attack or defense. But it is an easy fix. ;)
Certainly hasn't fixed Blake and Fergo's defence, and has openly praised their efforts at press conferences. Can he see a problem or not? No one knows but nothing has been fixed so maybe he can't. I would have dropped Blake many games ago, but that is just me, always looking for perfection.

Like I said. So off the mark. The point isn't that he is focusing on them being decision makers, it is that he has not been able to get them to play better and in fact they have regressed. In other words he hasn't been successful.

It is a damning statement on his ability as a coach. I also partially blame Moses for this though. He should be doing extras with his back rowers and centres for hours on end. He should be living and breathing ways to work plays with his runners. At this stage of his career he should not be content with what is happening out there and driving his own growth and evolution in his comprehension of the game.

He should be telling the coaching staff that things are just not jelling and that they need to change their approach. Coaches would generally love to see that approach and ownership from their leaders. I would suggest this does not and has not happened because we are still playing like the blind, deaf and dumb out there. It would not, could not be like that if they were doing these things at training. They are just way to talented to get it so bloody wrong all the time.
Sorry Ram our training cannot go overtime otherwise Matterson will be looking for another club.

No, they are taking on more responsibility and making more mistakes. As you'd expect from young players.

We just put 24 points on Melbourne in a semi final. Our attack is coming along well.
Our attack is not yet at optimum when considering our early season form. However unless we can get more speed we'll struggle to beat the top sides.

You seek perfectionism and predict failure. Med geeks could write a thesis about you.

I remember well Sterling & Squiggy swapping positions regularly throughout a game to take advantage of both players strengths. Maybe Drown and Gutho could alternate likewise ? Both are magnificent players and could handle that assignment easily. Something to consider in the off season BA.

I reckon we're better off with Blake in the side than playing with only 12 on the field. We have a very good win rate with him in the side. He can't be hurting us that much.

He is our weak link, but every team has one. Given the quality of our defence overall he's not that much of a weak link. I actually think most of our problems are with what's happening further infield than Waqa Blake. You'll notice the problem wasn't solved by moving Jennings to the right side.

The perfect is the enemy of the good. Glenneel thinks dropping a player will fix things, just like sacking a coach. Zero thought to who should replace them. Just sacking merkins is enough for the perfectionist.

I suspect our left side this week will have Blake at left wing, with Takairangi at centre but defending three in. Drown will defend at left centre.

When Sivo scored a heap of tries down the left side last year it wasnt all because of the brilliance of Sivo. I reckon the opposition defence had a deficiency that left Sivo out wide, alone and able to score.

Every team has defensive weaknesses.

Well If someone's not performing continously, you'd assume that the best thing to do is to bring someone else up. Are you saying there's no centre in the 30 apart from Jennings and Blake?

It's incredibly frustrating why Arthur didn't even try to bring someone else up during the season. Maybe having "gritty" wins and meeting the objective of a higher place on the ladder was more important than fixing a major problem.

I think without a second tier comp, bringing someone up who hasn't been able to show anything on the field is a lot more difficult and sending your number one choice in Waqa back to reserve grade to work on fixing his issues is impossible.
