I dont rate this Chammas bloke, he's never got any true mail in regards to us. I'm not sure how is contacts with the Roosters and/or Riolo are.
Seeing as both Riccio and the Sloth have missed this one I'm gathering it has come from the aforementioned sources.

I got told this morning the agreement happened last week then 20 minutes later it was in the press.

I hope we haven't thrown baby out with the bath water . Fitzgibbon may be next big thing and I truly hope he is but hes unproven as head coach. I would think Morris would appeal to the new franchises who may have some developmental players and also might be able to get Bennet or Bellamy as director. Especially if Morris brings some of his young players with him. And on that point, If those Players walk we might need to Spend more of the cap replacing them at expense of getting the guns we need. Anyway Im sure those in the know and smarter heads than me have got it all sorted and its all up! up! from here.

Fitz has been in demand from a number of clubs. It was noted by Bellamy that this would be his preferred person to work with. Doesn't mean we will get him but shows him we can get the business done. Don't forget the club wanted to announce Bellamy at Christmas eve. This has been going for ages.

Honestly no idea if this is a good or bad thing but jeez i feel sorry for Bomber. Doing a reasonable job with the absolute shitshow of a squad left to him and doesn't seem to have an ounce of arrogance about him at all.

I know it's a results driven game and all but this doesn't sit right with me the way its now playing out in the media.

I just find it super interesting the Flanno brigade got shut out here. There was a real push for him a few months back and he didn't even get a look in! With all the cap space we have, players off contract this is a real chance to bring in a new era and move on from Bomber/Flanno/Sticky ties. This has been the same "team" with promotions since what 2007? Even Dymock who was the other contender for the role vs Bomber was from that core.

The last time we did something this drastic with coaching was probably Opes. Hope it ends better this time.

24 hours ago I thought he was no chance of leaving the Eastern suburbs penthouse to move into Gallen Towers at Wooloware.
Mixed feelings to be honest. Like most feel for Morris but next year is ideal realistically - Plenty of cash to spend on a platform he can design and work to.

2 assistant coaches.
Fitz and bomber.
One had a year under flange as he was being run out of his post - and then ushered into the head gig with no money, an ageing injured roster and not enough experience.

The other has been chin deep in a successful premiership winning environment seeing how true professionals train prepare and perform.
And all the while seeing close hand how trent does it.

Yeah, bombers done it the tough way.
But hes a great guy. Smart and has a firm future in the NRL
