NZ 2 is the only other probable option. PNG is an absolute non-starter (should be) whilst the Dolphins need time to bed in so whilst they could go another SEQ team it would seem unlikely.

If Govts are involved PNG becomes better but the extra timezone and better way of life makes NZ2 my preferred option. Not sure of where Perth gets its players from

Perth brings money, major capital city reach, fanbase, tv value and significant govt support but ltd jnrs.
Nz2 has access to stronger jnr set ups but no money, no govt support and ltd value to tv.
I’m thinking it’s easier to solve the perth problem than solve the nz2 problem.

You need players for a team, 0.5% of players would move. Certainly no one to make the team any good. It would be like GC once the inital roster retired

Thats what ive been saying for years... although when they started they had a pretty decent roster of journeymen, but that was a 4 year lead up, they wont be getting that... they should but they won't... and forget about and concessions or dispensations all teams need to run without a leg up (equal footing)

And that’s the thinking tha5 has made expansion in the nrl less than successful, there’s a big difference between equality and equity. .

Create quality juniors on mass, then we'll talk equality
You still don’t understand the difference lol
not all clubs are equal, therefore equity needs to be addressed.
this might help you

ps you do know that is the nrls responsibility dont you to create more jnrs in WA? they forcibly took over the WARL and assumed responsibility for the state

Can you predict lotto numbers as well?

What is the last big name player a Regional club has bought?
How did Dolphins recruitment go?
That is with actual QLDers to target and being an hours flight from Sydney should they miss family

That’s assuming the nrl doesn’t learn it’s lesson. if it stays dumb I agree with you.

Because thats what it takes to successfully expand into new areas and even heartland for anon pokie backed club. Storm “propped up” successful. Titans not, busted.

Missed point again; club not going bust when afl keeping them afloat.
Team recorded lowest ever season attendance last year.

Throw in the last few A League expansion clubs too, The next team needs a solid base for longer success

A league commissioned report which recommended teams in Sutherland, north Sydney or Brisbane but choose MacArthur for some reason..?!

For very limited crowds and most metrics are well behind
And a $643 million a year media deal and significantly bigger sponsorship deals. The extra $7-8million ayear each of those club costs compared to the heartland clubs is chump change in comparison.

Are you comparing a potential nrls club appeal in perth to gws appeal in Sydney? Or comparing the couple of mill extra a perth club would benefit from for jnr development to the $8-9mill a year more that gws gets? Why?? They are nothing alike. You need to have more confidence in our product!
