Of course, but the arlc can only put a case for Perth, they cant vote for the clubs, if those clubs are strongly against a new franchise 4-5hrs away from everyone, who don't have any junior talent to give in return vs a foriegn city that is closer than Perth, to atleast most of the comp, and has its own digicup comp running plus the qcup hunters in a population 5 times the size of perth minimum, and plays the game, its a no brainer... as the clubs know if they are losing players to a new franchise, they'll also be able to get them back to... there's nothing coming out of perth, its just all going inwards... i get they dont have their own team yet, but the comps there need to be at the standard to challenge resreve grade
And that is true but no one knows what clubs will prefer, like I said it’s a bot more of a flight but a bit less travel overall as it’s domestic, and there’s lots more flexibility in flight times for getting in and out.

re jnrs, which is totally seperate point to clubs travel preference once a year lol, consider this, in the early 90’s WAhad as many jnrs playing rl as Cronulla region does now. Arguably growing and developing WA jnrs may prove easier, especially if WA govt is putting mk ey behind it, than in png where poverty and lack of facilities mean jnrs are generally starting from a low level and physically well behind. It’s no surprise that despite the numbers they haven’t produced hardly any nrl players, stark reality is among club is going to be signing existing nrl players for many years to come as well

the player drain to any new club can be mitigated with some creative thinking by nrl, but probably won’t be.

Injuries, suspension and a poor spine have gotten the Dolphins in this position. The loss of Thomas Gilbert effectively ended their season. He provided the energy that sparked the rest of the pack into action. They won many games early on through grit and determination. Without Gilbert they've been passive and disinterested.

Surprised they've gone with so much black in it. They need to pick their primary colour and stick with it to create an iconic brand. in danger of becoming a Titans for kit design.
