The Sharks structure this year, on the field, has improved immensely.
2011 Sharks scored 74 more points than 2010 and 69 more points than 2009.
And just 23 points less than 2008 Sharks side.
Defensively they conceeded 52 less points than 2010 and 11 points less than 2009
Pts differential turnaround
Sharks -129 in 2011
-255 in 2010
-209 in 2009
+67 in 2008
Thats a massive change of direction in defence and attack. It may have been frustrating this year but the improvement across the board is very clear to see.
Some young centres should be a priority and only one hooker for the game would help with bench depth.
Wrist slashing aside and objectivity at the forefront, the Sharks of 2011 was a huge improvement on the Sharks sides of 2009 and 2010. Improvement should be applauded and encouraged imo.
