Just means that channel 9 thinks those games are 1 of the two most important games for those weeks respectively.

Why are they one of the two most important games? Their location may have something to do with it.

Brisbane will have alot more FNF games then Perth and CC combined, surely that must mean a 2nd Brissie team is justified then?

The upcoming doubleheader is proof of that, considering it's Manly and Canterbury home games. A second Brisbane team is vital to move the game forward, as is Perth.

So obvious isnt it?

I think if Perth gets in they'll only get Fri and Sat night games, bit of a shame it that happens though.

Sorry docbrown but I would rather see an off-red and lighter gold like this:

Based around this logos colours minus the navy.

Melbourne is in the same time zone as Sydney and Brisbane. Perth is 2 hours behind, surely you can work out the rest.

I'm sure they will play in a number of different times and days, maybe not to begin with but definitely afterwards unless the IC bring in something new (that i want) to get certain teams playing a vast majoroty of home games at certain times.

In English please.

I can envisage a Perth side playing at 300pm or 330pm local time on a Sunday ( therefore 500-530 in the east). Fox especially would find this a good time slot - prime time Sunday night football would get me interested.

With our 2 hours time difference I think our games will end up being mixed depending on how the TV rights play out. EG Say a RD has A Friday Q'land v NSW team 7.30 live then a NSW v Perth team at 7.30 WA time allows two live games into NSW which would rate high or a Super Saturday scenario could have a 4pm KO in Perth giving a 6pm live game or even a 6pm KO giving a 8pm live game into Eastern states or a Super Sunday with a 3.30 KO gives a 5.30 live game etc. Just about the only slot we are unlikely to play in would be a Monday night!

That depends on if the Friday night double header remains, moves to Sundays, or is joined by a second double header on Sundays under the new TV deal. If a second double header is introduced then I think you could expect Broncos games to pretty evenly split between the two days. Of course if there is a second double header introduced, you can bet the networks (the largest single contributor to the game's revenue) will push hard for another Queensland team so they have a wider choice of matches involving a Queensland team to schedule as one of the two games on each day.

Leigh.
