I am sincerely sorry to hear about your wife. I have no doubt she was a beautiful person.
We do indeed move on but my experience of losing loved ones is it takes time. While I haven't completely gotten over those I have loved not being on this planet anymore it has gotten less painful.

I originally used an image of the great man but when he passed away I decided to change the image out of respect for him. I am in the process of looking alternative images I might use. If I can figure out how to change it I will try a few out and see how they feel for me and others.

I first saw your post on my phone where the first article was too small for me to read but knowing what it was about immediately brought back memories of that time.
I remember both you and I were in the Panthers forum discussing how wrong it was and in no way should it be treated as acceptable behavior. I felt reassured that attitudes were moving in the right direction by the overwhelming numbers of Panthers fans who were of similar views to us.
Just thinking back to the posts you were making has given me a reality check. I am now of the belief you are not a complete asshole.( an attempt at light humor) I really appreciate your posts that show great respect for women.

This discussion reminds me of how different we all are. There will be humor that I find disgusting and others will find hilarious. I know in my lifetime I have made many jokes that I intend to be funny that others will tell me are really off.

I see you as a person made up of very many parts like all of us I guess. I really like some of your posts. I really dislike some of your posts. I have good friends I really like and sometimes they piss me off. I am quite clear others feel the same way about me.

I still can't read what Alice had to say but I find it really disappointing when a woman does not come from a place of respect for other women.

Sliverdale has this wonderful ability to change the context of conversations. He appears to take the high moral ground on issues, whilst at the same time abusing and harassing anyone that dares to disagree with him.

Sadly I fell into his clutches by responding to one of his inane rants. So I must hold responsibility too for my part.


I adhore what May did in filming the sex he had with that woman. It was horrible.

May was punished in a court of law, given a good behaviour bond. Rubbed out of the game for 12 months.

When he came back May was subjected to an almost witch hunt from some media and social media posters like Silverdale. Who appear to believe that someone should be punished for life. Therefore creating an ongoing sentence for him.

When he posted a poorly worded social media post after the grandfinal win of 2021.......basically showing his middle finger to the harrassment and the ongoing trolling of him during the year.

It wasn't the smartest thing he could have done. Keeping quiet would have been smart. But since when are footy players ever smart.

The club was backed into a corner by the like of media and very vocal social media carryons for him basically saying stickinh his middle finger up to them saying look at where I've come from'.

So upshot I believe that May was run out of town for a poorly worded social media post, after being on the grog for some hours. (none of which I believe was smart)

Silverdale since then has ghosted and continual to abuse me for my opinion. Now he has started to drag my name into discussions whenever DV or poor behaviour of footy players is discussed.

Alluding to the fact that I support such bad behaviour.

This is a false narrative.

Not the original sharing of explicit sexual content. Prior to this final post he had been dealt with by the courts.

The term “violence against woman” used to describe this offence is subjective and somewhat belligerent. This offence IS really bad (I’ve seen the Pamela Anderson Doco on Netflix) however it wouldn't come close to the lows of death from a partners hands that can result from “violence against women..”

Im looking forward to “thugs”at Penrith including Luai and Cleary eventually learning by way of a good humbling that the thug culture needs to be kept behind closed doors..
