I still think Gards played well last night and has the potential to be a great fb. We have seen what he can do when he is on. I just like the guy and the idea of having a young guy in a fixed position for our future.

But that is beside the point. Fact is he is gone for probably the season. (Have to ask him if he considers it tragic or not)

As much as I know Carney can handle the 1, I'd prefer to leave him where he is. 4 wins in a row with him at 6. Just seems silly to stir the pot.

TC started in the 7, we lambasted Phlanno saying he needed to wear the 6 with a directing 7. So Phlanno makes the switch - Robson to 7, TC to 6. We win 4 on the trot against some decent opposition and now you want to move TC to 1.

Carney and Robson are working, I'd leave that as is. Other options - Williams or Mills - No - can't beat a man albeit they would be reasonably safe - no thrust. I'd like to see Stapo back in, if fit. Gordon is OK, but Mills could be anything. Could try Pickerd but there's a HUGE jump from NYC to NRL.

Wish Ike was back, not sure we have anyone else that can fill the role, hard call for Flanno, I would be relucatant to break a combo that has worked so well but I think Carney has to go to fullback till Ike or StaPo are back.

Gardner made the huge jump. I think pickerd has been a better nyc player than Gards was.

First year in NYC and played ALL his previous football as a centre.

Nowhere near ready to make the jump after 6 games as a FB in NYC. Most of which have been next to awful.

Why not. I'll guarantee you he is the B Plan. When he was dropped to reggaes he didn't go back and play wing. He went to FB and he did well.

He hasn't done anything wrong since he came back into the NRL.

He deserves a chance if that's how they go

Anybody else in the halves except TC runs the risk of us reverting back to the Sharks pre-2012.
