The disappointing thing is that the yes vote in this case would probably win. There are plenty of people out there who are, what I call surface supporters, that can’t see past the ‘good bloke’, ‘great player’ aspects of rugby league. I remember the bloke I used to sit next to at Tiger’s home games when I was a member and Sheens was about to get the punt. His only argument was that Sheens was a top bloke and we can’t sack him FMD.

I hated him before the Alex incident, I don't actually think what others say about for that was how it was, I think if he had of realised instantly the distress that Alex was in he would of behaved differently (I would like to hope he would). I hate him because he championed more wages for lower paid players whilst taking under the table payments at the same time, hypocritical grub at his finest.

Alex himself hated Smith for a couple of years. Even when they patched things up it was Alex that was the bigger man initiating it. I am going off of that. Smith chose to be solid with his club tactics rather than do the right thing.
