Definitely depends on the place. Here is my typical order:

Start: usually at someone's house or a quiet bar
DB draught is my first choice
Speight's if DB draught is not on tap
Lion Red if one mate in particular is there and speight's or DB isn't an option
Monteiths golden if it's a fancier bar
Killkenny if it's an irish bar
Heiniken if i'm at the bowling alley (6 for $30 in a metal bucket - good rate for town)

Once i'm over beer or if I'm at a club:
CC & dry if it's one of the places my mates brother manages
Bourbon & coke is the usual drink of choice however
Vodka and red bull if i'm particularly f**ked
Any shot if other people are doing them

Typical party choice for me is the DB draught and pre-mixed bourbon and coke combo. Can't go wrong with that.

Carlton Draught > Tooheys Extra Dry > Tooheys New > Victoria Biiter (any of the above)
Corona (gets a bit expensive though)
Double Baileys and Milk (maybe once a night)

I agree VB is so bad.

I don't mind a few of the German Biers. Lowenbrau or Spaten. But if I am at a normal pub I will stick with Tooheys New and I will finish the night with a few bundi and cokes or if i'm at home woodstock.
