So the Heat go on a 3-peat. Lebron wins 2 Finals MVP's and Wade wins 1 Finals MVP. Those are still considered Wade's titles?

Bit constrictive isn't it?

If there's one thing I know without a shadow of a doubt about Kobe, it's that he would have been watching all of this happen over the last 48 hours, pull the Kobe jaw-out face, head to the gym and worked for something crazy like 8 hours sraight on his game. And he'll do that again tomorrow. And the next day. These 3 am-egos in Miami are justing fueling his fire.
haha damn right, these divas dont know the fire they have lit

But like the Boston big 3, whos title is that. Pierce was finals mvp but no one will say it was his team or it was all him, Garnett and Allen respected the fact that Pierce was established there and they were going to his team, much like Lediva will have to.

With the Boston Big 3, I didn't consider it as anyones title. They all won it together. Which is how I'll look at it if the Miami Thrice win. I'm definitely in the minority with that, I know.

Exactly right, so the people arguing that if he wins finals mvp etc. should not matter, this is a superstar 3 and will be seen like that but people will always remember who was there from the start and that is D.Wade

So you agree with me that they won't be considered as anyone's titles?

I do understand that Miami will always be Wade's team. I'm getting the team and title thing confused.

Ugh these are all semantics though. They actually need to win first.

My only problem is the way he went about the whole saga. It was disrespectful and frankly pretty ridiculous. LeBron re-signed with the Cavs once before, he owes them nothing.

I'm not buying this, he can't be compared to the greats. The majority of them needed teams to be built around them. Can we remember what the Lakers were like and Kobe crying about a trade before he got one of the best big men in the game in Gasol and a few other pieces? Cleveland had their chance to build him a team capable of winning the championship and they couldnt do it. Mo at the point, a near 40 year old Shaq and a vastly overrated Jamieson isnt going to cut it.

Best of luck to him, I wont be cheering for them though. I'll be cheering Kevin Durant, who went about his extension humbly and professionally.

Isn't it fascinating how dramatically Lebron's image has changed in the space of a week.

I can't stand him. Going live on national TV and killing Cleveland like that is extremly low. I remember thinking how well the 2004 Lakers were going to be and how a team with that many stars would just romp it in. History tells us they fell apart when it counted and i see the same thing happening in Miami. I can't see this triple marriage lasting long. I can't see how 3 superstars that demand attention and the ball can work together to win. I don't see this team winning any championships. I would put money on Bosh becoming the scapegoat and demanding a trade after the 2nd season.

He has nobody to blame but himself, the way he went about this was a joke.

He's not fit to tie Jordan's laces.
The 'chosen one' or 'king' eh...lol playing Scottie Pippen in Miami:lol:

I would love for the Cavs to get a championship before the Heat!

Agreed 100%, he brought this all on himself and whatever he cops he has it coming. Hopefully when he steps up to the free throw line the crowds start chanting "PIPPEN PIPPEN PIPPEN"

he can win the next ten titles in a row and he'll never get the respect he would have got signing for anywhere else i.e New York or staying in Cleveland and winning 2 or 3. Will go down as one the worst decisions in sports history and I wouldnt be suprised if he is gone from Miami in 2 or 3 years once he sees the folly of it.

I have never backed a western conference team (except maybe back in the days of David Robinson and Sean Elliott) before.

If Miami make the finals next season I will be.

And until I see lebron do something like this, he will never amount to anything near as good as what mj, magic and bird ever were;

We'll let K.C. Jones tell what it was like:
"We are playing in Seattle. Five seconds left on the clock and the score is tied and it is our timeout. In the huddle, I am thinking Xavier McDaniel is guarding Larry.
"So I said, 'Now Kevin, you take the ball out and get it to Dennis and Dennis you can finish that.'
"Larry said, 'Why don’t you just give me the ball and tell everybody else to get the hell out of the way?'
"So I said, 'Larry you play, and I’ll coach.'
"And he said, 'All right.'
"So I said, 'Dennis, you take it out and you get it to Kevin. Kevin you get it to Larry and everybody else get the hell out of the way.'
"That is communication. Before the timeout was over, he leaves the huddle, and I said to myself, where is he going.
"And Xavier was right there and Bird said, 'Xavier, I’m getting the ball. I’m going to take two dribbles to the left. I’m going to step back behind the three point line and stick it.'
"And that is what he did. So when he stepped back behind the line and released the ball, as soon as he released it, his arm was still in the air going to the dressing room. Game over."

There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team,' " Jordan said after playing in a celebrity golf tournament in Nevada. The interview aired on the NBC telecast of the event. "But that's ... things are different. I can't say that's a bad thing. It's an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys.

"We didn't think about it 'cause that's not what we were about," Johnson said at Baruch College in New York, according to Bloomberg News. "From college, I was trying to figure out how to beat Larry Bird."
I think all these guys giving the three Mi-Egos a bit of stick are just going to galvanise them tbh, see them adopt a bit of the Heat mentality from their 06 title team.
