Been playing the last of us, and have uncharted 3 and assassins creed: brotherhood waiting in the wings. Never played an assassins creed before, but brotherhood was the highest rated and was on 2 for 40 at jb so I figured what the hey!

Also playing ffvii on laptop when I don't have access to ps3

I'm still yet to play the Uncharted games.

Brotherhood is awesome, but I think my favourite was AC II. If you enjoy Brotherhood then I recommended playing through all the AC games, good series.

Just bought Mass Effect 1 off the PSN's January sale, I generally don't like Western RPGs but I've heard nothing but good about the series so I'm going to give it a go.

I'm about 10 hours into 2 right now. It gets a lot better imo in 2 so worth sticking it out if you have any doubts about 1, as I did.

Playing AC III, been getting through all the AC games. Can't wait to play Black Flag on the PS4.

And then it's on to The Last of Us.

And has anybody played Resident Evil 5? I got given it by a friend.

I own it on PS3.

Look, it's not bad, but to me, it's not really a Resident Evil game. It's an action/shooter with horror elements, rather than a "survival horror" game like the first two.

Also, the AI of your partner is dreadful - I usually played as Chris, so Sheva was my partner, and she would get stuck looking at a wall with her back to the enemies, or she'd die by falling off cliffs...She was dumb, and you had to babysit her.

The game itself, though, is fun.

Resident Evil 4 was the last main-series Resident Evil that I would say felt like a Resident Evil game. What a game it was, too.

Resident Evil Revelations is meant to be very good and a visit back to what a real Resident Evil game should feel like. I've picked it up on my 3DS but haven't played it yet. I believe it has been ported to all the major last-gen consoles, too... and possibly Wii U.

True. Resi 4 was great.

Resi 5 is good, but it's a big departure from the intense, suffocating horror of Resi 1 and 2. I loved those two games.

And just on Fallout: New Vegas again, it's fantastic. I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it's grown on me!

It sure is hard, though - I'm still early on in the game (I've only just met Jason Bright and finished his quest). I was on my way to Boulder to start the next part of my quest, and I was attacked by 4 radscorpions. They killed me. Easily. And rapidly.

And another time I was killed easily by three baby cazadores. I shot one five times in the head at point blank, and all it did was stun him!

Still - a great game.

Playing Arkham Origins. Enjoyed it but not as good as the other ones. Disappointed with the twist, was looking forward to a new main villain. The map seems to similar to Arkham City yet without as much in it, despite being bigger. There's too many gang fights and the controls seem flaky at times. Other than that a good game.

Been playing Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft. Never been interested in card games but Blizzard have got a hit on their hands imo. Super addictive

Just played it for a couple of hours, definitely a big change from the last couple of games. Didn't get to experience the stupidity of the AI as I had my mate play cooperatively with me. Still a bit of fun though, not as intense as the others.

Just bought AC IV on the PS4, brilliant so far.

Just bought Starbound. It's in the same vein as Terraria and Minecraft, but I quite like it's sci-fi feel and the exploration element. Definitely a fun game.

After quite a hiatus, I've finished Saints Row 4. Not as good as SR3 I must admit. Too much sci fi shit for my liking.

6.5/10.
