Playing a lot of ESO, but the issues with the oceanic cable between China and the US are making it hard to play. The lag spikes are a killer.

Bought Age of Wonders the other day, so might give that a burl.

Both ESO and War Thunder are pretty good.

I am playing Infamous at the moment, not a bad game at all. A few bugs but enjoying it so far.

I've actually been playing a whole heap of Master System and Mega Drive classics. Honestly some games are too freaking addictive. Teddy Boy for one...

Speaking of 16-bit, I recently reclaimed the SNES from my parents place after a weekend visit, and was disappointed to find it doesn't want to play games anymore (powers on but only get a black screen).

Was so looking forward to revisiting my teens with the likes of Wrestlemania The Arcade Game, Ren & Stimpys Time Warp, Starwing, MK1 & 3 and of course the all time classic Super Mario Allstars.

Hope there's some way of fixing this....

I can't recommend any physical places here as you're in NZ, but I'd suggest ebay. Apart from that emulation would be a sure thing!

Emulation is all well and good, but I wanna blow on the cartridges dammit!!!!! :D

Might just try the ol' clean the cartridge and console contacts with rubbing alcohol and all that jazz first and see how it goes.

We've got a bunch of MasterSystem & MegaDrive games also, but those were collected from flat and not from my childhood (was always a Nintendo kid until finally getting onto Playstation) so not as nostalgic for me.

You could get the Retron 5 if they ever release the thing.

I play a couple - KI Gold, MK64, Zelda (never forget the fishing segment lol) - I was mainly a PS guy. Best console invented for it's time IMO!
