Surprised at how shit and boring the Battlefront 2 beta was,f**k that game bruh

I played it for a few hours and didn't really love it the way I loved Battlefront 1 when I 1st played it. How hard is it to make an awesome Star Wars game!

Originally i had preordered a mythril edition but f**ked that off with news of microtransactions which I'll never buy

Only roughly half an hour in, I'm glad I'm not a lore nazi like i was for WoW (Illidan was never a bad guy wtf blizzard you dumb merkins),Shelob the sexy rock spider is a huge wtf but to be fair so are caragors

PUBG. Starting to get my PC FPS mojo back and loving the tactical/survival aspect of the game, plays really differently to the other shooters I've played. I need to get another game obsession though that doesn't become unplayably laggy during the evening peak period when everyone's watching Netflix :/

Career Mode for me. I played a bit of the Journey, but its a bit too much "Days of our lives" for my liking haha

Grab Turismo Sport

Thoroughly disappointed.

I mean, the game is ok - but it's basically an online game.

I always loved the career mode in the GT series - get your licence, buy a cheap car, win races, modify it, win more, buy a new car, etc. It was a lot of fun to work hard to amass enough cash to buy a 1 million credit car.

But now...it's just blah.

So disappointed in this game tbh.

* AI is awful
* The game "cheats" to make it harder (eg: your RB/WR is in open space, and he will literally start jogging on the spot, not moving at all, to allow the defense to catch up)
* It's got a lot of visual glitches (players phasing through other players, the ball magically teleporting from one hand to the other)
* The game doesn't make it harder by ramping up the intelligence on higher difficulty levels - instead, what it does, is randomly injure your star players
* No Career Mode

Madden 18 is one of he worst in recent times, tbh.

Worst thing that happens to me literally once per game:

I'm on defense.

Opposition QB goes for a scramble. It's 3rd and long.

Opposition QB gets past the line of scrimmage.

My CB just sits beyond the first down marker, staring at the QB, not moving until I manually select him (by which time it's too late, and the QB collects the first down).

Surely the CB would see the QB mice past the line of scrimmage, and then rush to smash the QB?

I'd recommend Madden 15 - that was pretty good!

What a shame.

So on that note, can anyone recommend a good racing game for PS4 that isn't all about online?

It's 100% online.

And thee good old mode, of buying a cheap car, winning races, doing it up, winning money, and buying a better car, is gone.

There's an arcade racer coming soon called wreckfest

I've been early access on it since inception

It'll be a ball to play when they finish it complete with career mode
