Gran Turismo Sport. The limited cars (especially the old bangers) and heavily reduced number of tracks does suck a fair bit.

The cars behaviour and graphics are sublime though.

Was just playing F1 2017 which was an immense improvement on its predecessors.

Am playing Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on PC. Only played about 2 hours so far, but bleedin' hell I can see why it got an R rating. Most gore ridden game I have played. Fun but very violent.

Gran Turismo Sport is not a true Gran Turismo game, imo.

I agree. I feel cheated for having bought it. GT6 was so damn good.

Problem for this series though is that each new game tries to reinvent the wheel, making menus and car responsiveness different every time.

GT6 finally got it all together and it worked.

They've sold out here and just copied every other cars game (ie - focus almost entirely on the fancy high end cars)

Stock Lancers, MR2's, Beetles...that was part of the fun.

Now it's all expensive sport cars. It's dull, tbh.

The problem too with all these high end sports cars is that for the most part, they all perform very similarly.

The on thing that shit me about GT6 which still exists in this game, is the extreme hyper cars, like those tomahawks and the Red Bull F1 cars, is that you couldn't take them in a race against the AI anywhere.

Juiced (2005) is like that. You buy cheap cars and modify them. You need to repair them after every race too for damage sustained. You can take a soap box you bought for $2500 to a real top-of-the-range car. Change everything under the paint job to the paint job itself!

Black Flag is always my favourite. I think in many ways they've gone more back to BF, I think with Syndicate and Unity they perhaps tried to get too cute and veered off track. With Origins, you still do the whole synchronise thing but the sync points are different types of locales and are excellently done. I went to one the other day and thought it was a clear area and got jumped by a pack of hyenas.

Every town is different, and seem quite authentic compared to what I've read about the time period. The fighting is tougher, you do have to think it out a bit and strategise.

Gee GTS has another f**k up. When there server is down the game is practically unplayable. You can't do the licence tests etc. Only arcade racing. But you can't save it. How f**king stupid is that.

Playing assassins creed origins. It is very nice looking, the world is great but the story just hasn’t sucked me in yet.
I’m a big assassins creed fan and I feel slightly disappointed at the moment.

I was going to buy a few games whilst I’m in Europe to save a few $ looks like I will give GT a miss.

I'd say that's the weakest part is the story. But for me, the massive improvement in combat complexity, the sheer size, beauty and variation of Egypt, it makes up for it.

Still jamming FIFA 18, although on a recent trip to USA, I bought Madden 25 and NBA 2k16 (i like the sports, but I don't keep upto date on the rosters, so I went a bit cheaper and didn't get the most recent ones)

Also keen to get WWE 2k18

Some of the viral bloopers of WWE 2k18 are awesome. My favourite one is Cena fighting backstage, and then basically being caught in an ankle lock by a sofa. I kid you not.
