Never been a fan of lassalo but he played his best game by far tonight. needs to perform at that intensity week in week out.

Paulo impressed also.

tataui and horo should struggle imo.

poh still looks too small.

poore played well. best of our props tonight imo.

Congrats to both wingers.

Usually you will see teams bring in players gradually and ease them into their playing structure but tonight i dont think i have seen a Parra team as vastly different to what we fielded in previous years. The only regulars from 2011 were Keating Mannah and Moi moi. The whole backline were brand new, does this mean they need time to work each other out?
As a season ticket holder for many years, it has been a while since i have been to the footy confident that we were a good show at winning. For far to long i have been going hoping we would win.
I could only imagine as to what it would be like to leave a game genuinely surprised that you had lost the game. Now when i walk out after a loss its almost as though we have lived up to expectations.
Anyway good luck with it Mr Kearney

id go with that:D. I also noticed players werent backing up for a hand free to pass. Hayne and burt are always looking for a lose arm to get a short pass.

There was zero back up fro any players.

Yep your right when Burt plays fullback he follows our forwards like a bad smell. And hayne is very much the same, and with Burt playing that #14 role we could have both of them following our forwards.

I think the energy and enthusiasm was up and stayed around for 65 or maybe more minutes here and there but there were a few moments when we looked spent and at the Warriors mercy.
The Players put in which is good, let’s hope we back it up next week.

Hayne stays in we win. Our attack was sublime when we had our full team on. Our wingers actually made good yardage. Only way back for Burt is as a back up fullback or winger.

Very few mistakes. Good discipline. Plenty of completions.

Esi Tonga really does look out of place in first grade. Sio is quality. Blair is strong and raw. Will improve with each game.

Lasalo, Allgood, Hayne, Maitua, Maguire? Even POH played a fair bit of first grade last year too.

Allgood also needs to put size on. Plays well and with alot of heart but there at times his lack of size and power really counts against him causing to get dominated in the tackle.

There was some positive stuff out there, despite getting a touch up on the scoreboard.

Sandow - another two individual tries for the tally, brilliant.
Roberts - was very impressed with his involvement in attack, his positioning and confidence in his role, got through the 80mins ok.
Keating - looked a bit sharper and quicker than last week, combined well with Sandow and Roberts for the most part (although tires a bit and can get slow).
Sio - did well after the unexpected position change, knows what to do as a fullback.
W. Tonga - got through the 80mins ok, not scared to take the strong hit-ups when the forwards were tired.

I'll leave what I didn't like for the other thread :).

I am not a MK fan.

he did good but towards the end, he started holding the ball, take to steps sideways and passed to Sandow and the defense was right in Sandow's face.

He did not do that early in the game

He did the same last week against the Broncos. Maybe Keating is being left on the field too long and getting tired.
