What if Jarryd Hayne doesn't make the 49ers cut? Will he return to the NRL?

He might miss the 49ers cut, but get picked up by another NFL club.

But if he misses out on any NFL contract, which NRL club will be able to afford him? Parramatta? The Roosters?

He's done enough over there for someone to pick him up before or during the season. His journey there won't be over at least until the end of this year.

We'll see when the No.1s come back, they'll be after him, he's got a huge target on his chest now after all this hype, the roiding nutters will be after his rib cage.

I think he'll go to Sevens, that's the rumour I heard. But maybe the ARU Sevens won't want J Hayne.

Jarryd Hayne has the potential to become the biggest foreign celebrity sportsman to hit the US since Pele. He also has the good looks to become a babe magnet.

If he does get picked up, by the 49ers or by another team, expect him to get a US$5-10 million a year contract by year's end. He will be profiled in all the US sports magazines. He will then become the most famous former rugby league player in the history of the world.

Some good laughs in this thread. He'll make it through cuts this week and get some game time in the coming weekend with the other guys battling for spots. If he has another quiet showing he could be in trouble.

As a running back, no team is interested in him. He'll be landing a spot as a punt/kick returner. He's not getting a ten million a year contract for that. People need to stop reading the hype and calm down. He's yet to even go up against the 1's.

Who?

Hayne might finally get to be half as popular as Billy Slater. Not bad since he was only 1/4 as good.

I like how the Madden Fan Bois take a joke account's statements as being representative of the general League public's beliefs with respect to Hayne.

And further keep trying to belittle his achievements thus far, because he hasn't played against first string opposition.

He aint coming back. He is gone.

He is playing in the NFL. The organisation that kids in counties that cant afford pants or water wear their hats.

The sport that Hollywood make movies about, he will earn up to 15 Mill a year, he will never play in the NRL again, the competition that boasts players of years gone past such as Adrian Purtell, Chris Sandow, butter ball fingers Ben Pomeroy.

Goneeeeeeee Get over it....

Official NFL online shop has started advertising pre-orders for Hayne jerseys,i would imagine the NFL made a call to the 49ers and asked if Hayne has made the 53 man squad as they would be very keen to start selling them.
