I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say you have not read this yet.

You seemed very quick to the draw before hand.

No Billy I would like to respond but you have to admit it is a long post.

That i certainly will admit:lol:

I will reply to your very long post, I simply do not have the time in the next couple of days.

I don't care if you reply or not. I think we have both made our positions clear. Our replies are starting to get way to long and i think it's getting to the point where not much more can be said.

I'm happy do continue the discussion if you want.

That said though, I am still completely at lost to why this have made you put in such an effort.

I regularly post like this on forums. I just enjoy the back and forth. I don't really consider it an effort, it doesn't take that long to post.

So it is you contention, you are not a musician.

I'm not, though i would really like to learn an instrument it's just a matter of finding the time.

It is your contention, that you buy little music.

I buy a decent amount but no more than the norm.

It is your contention, that you were just reading this thread and have little interest in music, just felt musicians were being harshly treated.

I don't even read this sub forum outside of very rare occasions. I was just scrolling past to go to the NRL forum and this was the top thread. I thought it would be interesting to see what people posted.

And no I am not trolling, It is certainly my view musicians are worthless.

Before we continue any discussion i want you to clarify what you mean here? Do you mean they contribute nothing to society? Do you think it requires no skill to be a musician?

I can sort of understand the first but not the second. I believe it requires an immense amount of skill and imagination to be a quality musician (i don't mean hacks like Bieber)

My position is this. I think musicians bring a lot of joy into peoples lives and that alone means they serve some purpose. If all of the worlds musicians were to disappear would the world descend into chaos? No. I however don't think that makes them worthless.

In terms of the most skilled musicians (particularly the greats like Bach etc) i have an immense amount of respect for them.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and say you have not read this yet.

You seemed very quick to the draw before hand.

Sorry was a little busy.

Robin Williams is cool, the rest are useless (in vary degrees)

those people in supermarkets who hand out bits of cheese or other new products are right up there, after musicians...

I would agree, people tend to stick to they liked as kids, when they where sucked in.

I was never into music as a kid actually. Didn't really take any interest until I was 18 or 19.

Because talentless twats are promoted by fat cat muppet masters and the kids lap it up. Then have the hide to say "it is about the music".

I don't begrudge someone making a profit off something people are willing to pay for, even if they are a talentless genius like Bieber or Ke$ha.

2 Things here,

1. Toy manufacturers are in it for profit, they do pretend it is "about the toy".
2. Children television is educational, music videos are not.

I counter with "Bratz Dolls".

My daughter, being the great girl she is, takes me to a movie once a month, anyways, one of the previews was for Justin Beiber 3D. I shyte you not. The preview shows him playing as child (5years old) and talks of his talent as a musician.

Bieber in 3D showing off his talents.

The defence rests your honour.

I'm not giving you any benefit of the doubt. You have obviously read my post and had plenty of time to respond. I guess it was a little difficult trying to actually put forth an argument, just posting stupid comments about Bieber was a lot easier so you fell back on that.

Did you like the second link?

Perhaps not music, but the music industry, yes he does.

For adam and billy, real music fans

Bwwwwhahahaha, the defence is in stitches.

You seem to have an unnatural obsession with Justin Bieber.

Also as mentioned above Justin Bieber is just one musician. For a few posts there it looked like you were maybe trying to be rationale but now you are back to the same old childish BS.

Billy you said should I did not have to bother, are you saying I need too, I have time now and you will egt your response.

Bieber is like Milli Vanilli too me, everything the music industry stands for, as I said, I was at the movies saw a preview, gave me a laugh. BTW why don't you rate Beiber, from what I can tell, he can play instrument, writes his own stuff etc, why do you see him as crap, yet rate dolly?

In fact billy you have inspired my to show how the music industry preys on the young and suckers like you lap it up.

Stay tuned.............
