society creates a lot of unecesaary "jobs" in the name of employment or laziness. i look at a lot of bureacracy as a prime example of this where someones job is to tick an apporval box..before someone else ticks a box furtehr along....

a lot of jobs listed here as useless are in fact useful in some way, they may be menial but they serve a purpose..except runway models

my old man makes sculptures from old and used farm yard machinery, I will be sure to let him know you think his 'trade' is useless. Here's some pics from things he has done

the joy he gives people when they see his 'art' in public, I know for certain, gives him far more satisfaction than the $$$ he receives when he gets commissioned to do work for permanent public display in parks in the Riverina. But getting good $$$ doing something he absolutely loves is something I would say most people would love to be able to achieve..................... shock horror his art even appeals to kids out there.

Mate they look brilliant, if he was getting $4million per sculpture, you may have a point, if his target audience was children (kids may like them, but I guess you dad hopes everyone likes them), you may have a point, but from what I can see there, that looks like hard yakka, and your old man is not buying small countries anytime soon. Was just out getting a bite to eat, then I went past this place called, "Sanity", they appear to sell music CDs, it was crazy in there, saw this bloke with MC Hammer pants on - from behind I figured it was adam, but the guy was 70 odd. So I think I just met the twiz. Then I got pushed over by three old ladies, they had "Beiber fever" and I was in the way, one even hit me with her walking stick. The clientele in general looked like a bingo hall, except for this one guy about 15 years old going through Dolly Parton records. He was the odd one out.
I left pretty quickly felt so young in that store.


BTW beave, is that all your old man does, or does he run that farm also?
