Caught the Wolf of Wall Street over the weekend off the back of a stack of good reviews from friends.

It was the absolute crackers... interesting story line, great acting, laugh out loud moments, heaps of t*ts and watching munted blokes get up to mischief.

Surprisingly went for a lot longer than what I assumed, but I didn't find it overdrawn at all. 9.5/10

Watched Homefront today (Jason Statham & James Franco). I thought it was pretty watchable, felt like an old-school action flick. Sylvester Stallone was behind it, so I guess that would make sense.

REC

A very rare well-made found footage film. Shaky cameras usually annoy me but it was used well in this. Had some genuine scares too.

7.5/10

Was that the American remake of "The Ring", or the Japanese original?

IMO the American one blows. But the Japanese really understand psychological horror, I think. It's a great film.

The American one. I thought it was alright, usually I hate these horror type movies.

Yeah I liked the American version. It was The Ring 2 (American) which sucked. Samara was done in CGI and looked incredibly fake, especially the bathroom scene.

Lone Survivor. Good movie but I never knew Afghanistan looked like the mountains of Colorado/New Mexico. Made it a tad unrealistic IMO even though it was based on a true story.
