Cap America Winter Soldier
Great film. 9/10. I wish there was a bit more of the Winter Soldier though. Underused but I'm sure he'll be back in the next one.

The Lego Movie is fantastic. Hilarious and pretty good themes as well. Not to mention the characters and animation.

Watched Anchorman 2 the other day. Funny, but not a patch on the original. 6.5/10

Re-watching The Towering Inferno now. Still makes me tense.

Tokyo Drift the other night. Seen it plenty of time before - the culture in which they depict the movie never ceases to amaze me :D

7/10.

The Councellor - full of stars, Fassbender, Bardem, Diaz, Pitt, wriiten by Cormac McCarthy ( No Country for Old Men, The Road ) directed by the great Ridley Scott and it's barely a 6/10. Unsatisfying, hard to follow, waste of time and talent.

Smiley Gets a Gun - 1958 8/10.
A great little Aussie film starring Chips Rafferty, Leonard Teale and Keith Calvert as the often flabbergasted scallywag Smiley Greevins.

i remember watching that in the 80's on a rainy sports day at school.

thought it was ok then.

was there a scene where smiley is attacking a pillow with a cricket bat and scones someone behind him?

I think that's from the original film, simply titled Smiley ( Smiley Gets a Gun is the sequel ). If memory serves me he clocks his dad and runs away thinking he's killed him. I saw Smiley at the library the other day when I borrowed SGAG and almost grabbed it also, I will next time because I've been meaning to watch it again.

Mary and Max. Australian claymation film. Really well done I thought. Manages to be funny and have several deep themes throughout.
