What old 90's games would you like to see remade?

I would like to see an updated, new version of Doom as well.
NOT Doom 3 style, but using the original gameplay-where the 3D is psuedo, and just have an awesome looking Doom update that plays as the original did, as IMO it is still great to play now. No plot, no missions, no poncy look up/down in true 3D...just pure run & gun stuff!

How many old dudes here? Memories go back to the '80s? ZX Spectrum days? I'm thinking old Classic Saboteur...;-) And early brilliant strategy game The Sentinal (which had a pretty good PS1 update).

I'm not a fan of remakes. I would like to see new versions of some old series though:

• Ultima
• Ultima Underworld
• System Shock
• Carmageddon
• Space Quest (Actually, I'd like to see more point-and-click adventures in general...)
• TIE Fighter/X-Wing
• Fantasy/Allied General
• Full Throttle
• Total Annihilation (this was such a great game.)
• Syndicate - not the FPS version meant to be released soon but the original style.
• MechWarrior
• Wing Commander
• Elite/Frontier
• Combat flight simulations. These just died. Falcon, F-15, USNF, F-117, A-10, AH-64 etc etc. All great games.
• Harpoon
• Magic Carpet
• Descent
• Quarantine

I'm pleased to see the old X-Com series is getting a new version.

My favourite game of all time.

I went from C64 to Amiga to PC. But I don't play many games any more. Just a bit of Age of Empires.

A mate had a speccy, apart from 3D isometric games (Head over Heels, Great Escape) I wasn't a fan, although I did clock The Sentinel on it.

Easily my favourite retro game is Zombies Ate My Neighbours on the SNES.

Heaps of fun with 2 players. Would be great rereleased.

That looks like it would be a portable device game, iPhone, iPad, galaxy etc.
not sure how they would make a good game by today's standards with that simple gameplay
