Clyde and Stuart were shafted by Raiders HQ for Mark McClindon and Andrew McFadden. That still gets up my goat.#-o

Quite cranky we lost Wiki to a cheating NZ Warriors team.

Ben Kennedy could have been awesome for us.

Luke Priddis was a bad release also.

Steve Menzies.

IMO, everything would be completely different today both on and off the park if he was around.

Aye???...you are kidding right?

Came into our team in Round 4 and ended up NRL top try scorer for the year in 2004...

He wasn't bad for us either. He came to us to score tries and he did that. You couldn't expect much more from a guy whose only real quality was pace.

Asotasi, Price and regardless of what anyone says about the bloke I was sad to see Corey move on, the last link to some great times for Doggies fans.

Matt Sing
Paul Rauhihi
Ray Cashmere

Few cowboys have made as big as impression in the time they have spent here then those three, Singy and Rah in particular as they added a huge contribution to our rise to a top 8 team in 04, ray was a huge loss as we havent brought up a replacement for him since he left with kaufasi doing sweet f**kall this year.

All three earned thier rite to seek better deals though and will always be considered as heroes by cowboy fans

^^^ These guys, plus Scott Prince and Glen Morrison. Matt Sing could score tries and save tries at will, he was brilliant. Rauhihi and Cashmere have left big boots and their replacements have struggled to fill them. Kaufusi in particular has been bad, while Tronc is great on paper but has bugger all impact during the game.

Morrison was great week-in-week out. However, I'm more than happy with Luke O'Donnell as a replacement, he's been fantastic too.

Man, what a team we would have today if we'd kept those guys.

1. Bowen
2. Sing
3. Graham
4. Tonga
5. J Williams
6. Thurston
7. Prince
8. Rauhihi
9. Payne
10. Cashmere
11. Morrison
12. Southern
13. O'Donnell

*sigh* That team has more talent than the entire NSW Origin squad combined.....

Yeah, but theres thing called the salary cap, and I'm pretty sure that team there would exceed it. Plus if you say stuff like "we should have kept this guy", then the Dogs could easily say I wish we kept JT.

Every team has to let players go and then when they turn out awesome in 2 years or so its a hard pill to swallow. But as the saying goes "hindsight is 20-20.

Pretty much Morley and Cayless like every Easts fan.

More recently, i was disappointed to see Joel Monaghan go. Having missed 2006 with that knee injury you would of thought he would have payed us back by extending a season longer, but atleast he went back home to Canberra. He was playing awesome footy and scoring tries for fun in the latter stages of 2007 and he would of flourished if he stayed on in 2008 given how many tries we scored off kicks!

Am I the only Roosters fan who just didn't care that Monaghan left?

Also, throw in Ryan Cross, we have had a black hole in the centres ever since he left. Not to mention Peter Cusack, probably the most underrated player of the short history of the NRL and the only player I actually didn't care that joined Souths because I liked him so much. Great, tough player. Nobody at the club plays with half the heart Cusack used to play with.

Paul Rahihi and Matt Sing.
Not so big but Brenton Bowen, he was an established first grade winger that did the job for the Cows and has been treated like crap over at the Tits and barely gets a gig.

Daniel Fitzhenry and Ben Galea were my two favourite players. Both left at the same time to go to the same club. It was very sad to see Hodgo go as well. I wasn't so much devastated as worried and scared when I heard Scott Prince was going.

Gutted me when big Sarge went to the Mariners. Was almost too much to see one of our greatest early Knights go to the scum league.

Upset to see Lote Tuqiri, Luke Priddis, Denan Kemp, Ben Hannant and Michael Ennis all leave.

The rest, not so much. Taylor is an enigma at this stage. Hot and cold, and inconsistent as all hell... but damn I can see there's a possibility we'll regret this decision like nothing else in a few year's time.
