Definitely. Credit to SK for finally adjusting the structures - Hindy at prop and Fui out wide worked well, much better use of the interchange, and obviously Roberts and Hayne had been training some combos and plays and Keating was much improved :thumn.

Now just to try something different in the right backline defence, I'm still to be convinced that the missing Esi is the answer there - if only Ben Smith wasn't injured.

I wont give him credit yet. He changed the team & structure to something he doesnt believe in.

- second faze play
- Benching lasalo
- starting fui

Its gone against everything he has coached us for the last year. He was desperate & went the opposite way to what he believes in

I thought Hindy to prop would be a bad idea but it turned out pretty well. I was disappointed with Allgood and Poore though.

Fui's move to edge forward could be called a masterstroke, except Kearney's tried it before and we've all been calling for it anyway. Worked very well last night.

I still think it might hurt us in defence at some stage of the year but last night two of Fui's runs set up game-changing plays (Hayne's first try and Sandow's field goal).

I thought Poore was ok apart from his initial knock on. Fortunately it didn't cost us points.

Yes a game plan involving Roberts sandow and Hayne was completely the opposite of what kearney had planned.

I think you'll find they followed the gameplan perfectly. All explained in this thread: http://forums.leagueunlimited.com/showthread.php?t=400723

Great move by Kearney moving Moi Moi to the left and targeting Cherry-Evans. I didn't think Moi Moi in the second row would work, still don't know about it's merits in the long term but it worked great for this game.

Great to see some attacking football for once and the playmakers playing with confidence.

We'll know in a few weeks if Saturday was about the coach or emotion, home ground, Hindy and Hayne.

Knights, Sharks and W/Tigers are all doable if we can maintain the rage.

For what it's worth, we play Knights after they played Storm. Sharks after they played StG and then we have Sunday arvo game at home vs W/Tigers.

And the knee jerkers will want him extended if he can win a few, after all, a few loses had him condemned.
