Cayless has been one of the great ambassadors to the game, has never done anything wrong his entire career, and will go down as one of the great captains/props of the game.

He's an ok prop, I suppose he's a nice family guy with a good work ethic and popular with his teammates. On the field, he's not really an influential player, no big loss to either the Eels or the Kiwis.

The game needs more Nathan Cayless'. It would certainly be in a far healthier position.

Congratulations to him on a fine career, he is not the first player to go through a career without winning a premiership and most certainly will not be the last, and all the best for the future. I hope he will play his last game before a crowd befitting of his standing and achievements in the game.

I never said he didn't play well or that his teammates didn't appreciate his efforts.

I'm confident that if we replaced Cayless with another prop that night and made, say, Benji or Jeremy Smith captain, we still would've won.

Confident, not certain.

"Rot" would be saying with absolute conviction and certainty that if Cayless had been replaced by another player that night a 14 point win would've become a loss.

Cayless is a solid leader but he has by no means been anywhere above average. A great ambassador of the game, will be remember as a great because of his longevity, not because of his success. He can thank his team mates for that.

If anyone thinks the Cayless lead Eels have been successful in terms of his Parramatta endeavors, whilst the blame isn't solely on him, you are nothing short of delusional.

The Eels 2000 - 2010 looking back, while there have been good times, is nothing short of disappointing.

Anyone who knows me in real life know I dedicate my heart and soul to this team, so I'm entitled to my opinion.

Random NRL forum members mean very little to me.

Anyone who thinks I can't an opinion just because it's different to yours can choke on my c**k for all I care.

Anyone who has devoted their time, money and life to this team deserves to be bitter.

If you have something to discuss about parra, man up and go to the parra forums and post it there.
