Meh, I've got two episodes to go and I'm bored.
Splitting the kids up was a mistake, Jim Hopper seems to have dropped 100 IQ points, Winona Ryder is still criminally underused, and the show is overly reliant on 80's nostalgia with non-stop background music and scenes that are directly lifted from Aliens, Terminator, etc.
I never said otherwise.I don't understand how this complaint is being leveled at season 3 - ALL of the seasons of this show have basically been lifted from 80s pop culture and soaked in nostalgia. Season 1 was The Goonies, Season 2 was Stephen King and all of the cliche 80s horror movies. The Duffers are very open about how they are using past pop-culture for the purposes of nostalgia.

Also, I’m a big fan of splitting the group. My favourite team by far is Dustin and Steve.
I don’t think it is reliant on the nostalgia
Sure it uses it a lot, and it isn’t subtle (heck, they straight out call the Russian guy Arnold)
But the rest of the show, plot, characters, set design are strong points that forces you to click on the next episode button
There are minor things I didn’t like, which I noted above
Huh?The problem I have with a lot of these streaming shows is that they are made more to be 'binge-worthy' or 'watchable' rather than actual quality.
The first two episodes were merely 50-minute long 80s music videos.

Watch "Psycho Pass".
It's a Japanese anime, set in a futuristic Tokyo, where the police have a system to deal with criminals based on their psychological profiles.
I don't want to give too much away, but it's really good - it is quite violent, but the story is so engrossing, and it really makes you think.
The second season was a bit of a let down but season 1 was great.
Mike is an unlikable alien looking weirdo little shit. By the time season 4 comes around he will look like your avatar. Hopper should have followed his instinct and killed him. Finally finished off Stranger Things season 3.
I loved season 1. Seasons 2 and 3 were boring as shit. Not Westworld season 2 meh, but... meh.
