What's good on Netflix?

I have had the box set of The Wire for years.. I really need to start watching it.

It’s been spoke about in the last couple of pages on the main tv thread in this forum. I watched it for the first time recently, it’s brilliant and easily in my top 2-3 shows I’ve ever seen.

Love Death and Robots series 2 - not as good (or as long) as the first but still very good.

I've been watching Z Nation. It's low B grade at best, but I'm enjoying it. If anyone is looking for a bit of mindless fun this could be the ticket.

Check out Black Summer. Just released season 2 and it’s a step above Z Nation.

Black Summer, well above Z Nation for mine.

Some of the tension built up in scenes was brilliant

Sophie. Murder in Cork. Very interesting, but after reading more about some other Netflix Docos I wonder how accurate it is.

Dirty Money on Kushner. My god the US system is truly f^&ked and heaven help you if you are poor. How it is legal for lawyers to chase poor people for money that they know is not legally owed is beyond me. Predatory and a form of theft. And what sort of scum does it.

Ive listened to an indpeth podcast on the murder and this seemed to basically just rip everything from that. Thought it was pretty well done, the stunning Irish country/coast helped.

Just finished the mini series “Time” starring Stephen Graham and Sean Bean.

Bean plays the role of a teacher who’s convicted of manslaughter, Graham is the screw. It has the usual jailhouse protagonists, as you’d expect.

It’s well written and despite it only being three episodes, I found each character added just enough to add a sense of time and dynamic to the prison.

Worth watching. 7.5/10

They're a Weird Mob

Classic song in the final scenes "It's a man's world sweetheart"

Great movie. Love the on location shots around Sydney

And @Generalzod

I saw this for the first time a few months back... and same as youy guys got intrigued by a lot of the filming locations... Also the bloke shovelling away on that housing site (Greenacre?) wearing a Dragons Jersey!

One scene that stuck out was when they did the six o'clock swill.... and stumbled out of a pub into the street, that showed a glorious view of the coastline... I was trying to work out where it was, I've been to pubs all over the eastern suburbs n north shore but didnt recognise it...

Turns out it was the Royal Hotel in Bondi. I only lived down the road for years!!

With development around the area you can't see any coastline any more from there (any more)...

Agreed. When he chooses his block of land always strikes me like that. Eastern Sydney, water views and it's made out like they are building in the sticks, the fringes. There's shots at Campsie train station as well if I recall it right. It's been a while since I've watched it.

Binged (well, it's just three hours) Blue Murder recently. Had never seen it, can see why it was so critically acclaimed. Richard Roxborough is one of our country's finest actors.

Low B grade is being generous. Seen bits of it as my wife loves that genre, but not the worst thing ever.
